How To Get Python - Gambit Ritual Season of Dawn Destiny 2

In this guide we will find out how to get the newly added Python Shotgun from Drifter.

Ritual weapons are the downgraded version of what we used to called pinnacle weapons. The developers had decided that pinnacle weapons were breaking the game and stopped making them after Season of The Undying.

Last time we had the Exit Strategy SMG which was good for both PvP and PvE. This time around, we got Python which is an Energy Shotgun. Completing the quest will take a lot of time though, below is the quest card that you can get from Drifter.

150 Close Range Final Blows
Infamy Rank Heroic

Doing this quest will be really easy but time consuming. Use Threat Level or Lord of Wolves to complete this quest. You will reach Heroic rank eventually after winning a few games here and there. To make sure that you never run out of ammo, use the “shotgun scavenger” perk in your armor.

Bungie knowingly adds weapons good for Crucible in Gambit activities so there is a player balance in both. Now a lot of players will jump into gambit, just to farm this gun and other players who are trying to win will suffer. Bungie has been ignoring the player friendly approach for a long time now.
