Netracells Guide (2026): Weekly Rules, Rewards and Best Frames
Five runs a week, kill inside the circle, take the shards
Last Updated on September 11, 2026
The short answer
Five rewarded runs a week, reset Monday. Find a Keyglyph, hack the terminals, open the vault, then stand inside the red circle and kill: only kills in the zone lower the security level. Bring an Overguard frame like Dante or Citrine, Radiation or Electricity weapons for the Murmur, and expect Archon Shards, Tauforged shards and melee Arcanes.
Reviewed September 10, 2026, current through Update 43.5. Iceblade of Narin lands September 23 and is not reflected yet; this page is re-checked after every major patch.
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Rewarded runs | 5 per week; each costs 1 Search Pulse from a pool of 5 shared with Deep Archimedea (2) |
| Reset | Monday 00:00 UTC |
| Start from | Tagfer in the Sanctum Anatomica on Deimos |
| Enemies | The Murmur: weak to Radiation and Electricity, resistant to Viral, heavy on Eximus |
| Reward pool | Archon Shards (Crimson, Amber, Azure), Tauforged versions, melee Arcanes, Melee Arcane Adapter |
What you need first
| Requirement | Why |
|---|---|
| Whispers in the Walls | The only gate. It needs The New War and Heart of Deimos, and it opens the Sanctum Anatomica, the Cavia and the Netracell console. |
The rules that decide the run
- Runs past your fifth of the week still play, but pay nothing until Monday.
- Once the vault is open, only kills scored while you stand inside the red search circle lower the Security Level.
- Necramite drones freeze the gauge around two thirds and one third remaining; kill them or nothing moves.
- Inserting a Keyglyph arms a squad-wide debuff for the fight (Framecurse, Wampyri, Conductive and friends); read it before you insert.
- No self-revive. Bleedout timers shrink with every revive, so stay close to the squad.
How a run works
- Launch from Tagfer with your squad and drop into the Sanctum tileset.
- Pick up a Keyglyph. There are several in the level; one per player is plenty.
- Hack the marked terminals. Each one shrinks the search radius for the vault.
- Find the vault, usually near the far edge of the map by the last terminal.
- Insert a Keyglyph. Its debuff is now on everyone until the vault opens.
- Stand in the red circle and kill everything that walks in. Kills outside do nothing.
- Destroy the Necramite drone when the gauge stops around two thirds, and again around one third.
- Spawns spike under a quarter remaining; hold the circle and keep killing.
- At zero the vault pops. Take the reward roll and the Entrati Lanthorn.
- Extract. Four more this week.
Rewards
| Reward | From | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Archon Shard (Crimson, Amber or Azure) | Vault reward roll | Color is random; no choice |
| Tauforged Archon Shard | Vault reward roll | The 1.5x version of a shard, same three colors |
| Melee Arcanes | Vault reward roll | Melee Influence, Animosity, Exposure, Vortex, Fortification, Retaliation |
| Melee Arcane Adapter | Vault reward roll | Unlocks an Arcane slot on a melee weapon |
| Entrati Lanthorn | Every opened vault | Crafting material for the Whispers gear |
| Cavia standing | Every completed run | On top of the loot roll |
| Legendary melee Arcanes (Crescendo, Duplicate) | Not here | Those come from Deep Archimedea only |
Best frames
| Frame | Role | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Revenant | Cannot die | Mesmer Skin ignores the Keyglyph debuffs and the Eximus spam while you hold the circle. |
| Dante | Overguard nuke | Light Verse and Final Verse blanket the squad in Overguard, which shrugs off Keyglyph debuffs, and Tragedy clears the circle. |
| Xaku | Armor strip | The Vast Untime strips armor and pulls the room into a controllable cluster. |
| Citrine | Damage reduction | Crystals give damage reduction and healing to everyone camping the zone. |
| Wisp | Sustain and speed | Reservoirs heal and speed the squad through the search phase and the fight. |
Best weapons
| Weapon | Why |
|---|---|
| Torid | The Incarnon beam chains through a packed circle; mod Radiation or Electricity for the Murmur. |
| Kuva Nukor | Chain beam with Radiation from a Loki or Oberon progenitor is a perfect Murmur primer. |
| Glaive Prime | Heavy throws detonate on the crowd that walks into the zone. |
| Laetum | Headshot burst for the Eximus that make up half the spawns. |
Mods that carry a Netracell
Survivability first: the fight is stationary and the debuffs are squad-wide. Then Radiation on the guns.

Tips that save runs
- Overguard counts as health against Keyglyph debuffs, so a Dante, Citrine, Styanax or Hildryn takes most of the sting out.
- Skip to the last terminal if you know the tileset; the vault usually sits near it.
- Turn off wide slows and pulls that stop enemies walking into the circle; you want them inside, dying.
- Hack a terminal for a temporary Necramech if the fight drags.
- Do your five before Deep Archimedea if you only care about shards; the pool is the same minus the Legendary Arcanes.
Mistakes that waste runs
- Killing outside the circle. It does nothing.
- Ignoring the Necramite. The gauge stays frozen until it dies.
- Nuking enemies before they reach the zone with Saryn or Mesa, which stretches the fight instead of ending it.
- Inserting a Keyglyph without reading it: Framecurse punishes every ability cast on the squad, not just the carrier's.
Netracells vs Deep Archimedea
| Netracells | Deep Archimedea | |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly cost | 1 Search Pulse per run, 5 runs | 2 Search Pulses, one run of 3 missions |
| Shape | One mission, one reward roll | Three missions back to back, rewards scale with Research Points |
| Loot | Archon Shards, Tauforged, melee Arcanes | Same pool plus Legendary melee Arcanes at the top |
| Do first | Yes: unlocks straight off the quest | Needs Cavia rank 5 and one Netracell |
