The short answer
Rising Tide is how you build a Railjack. Get the Railjack Cephalon blueprint (Market for credits, or Dojo research), install Cy in a Dry Dock (your clan’s, or the ones in the Saturn and Pluto Relays), then scan and defend six wreckage sites from Mars to Europa and repair each one with resources and a build timer. It is a resource and patience quest, not a hard one. The shortcut is 400 Platinum for a built Railjack in the Market, which skips the quest entirely.

Stage by stage
- Install Cephalon Cy in the Dry Dock: Install Cephalon Cy into a Dry Dock terminal. Watch: A Dry Dock can be built in a Clan Dojo or visited in Tier 2 or 3 Relays (Saturn or Pluto).
- Recover the Railjack's Fuselage: Ares, Mars: Scan and defend the Railjack Fuselage wreckage on Mars. Watch: Scanning progress halts if you leave the defense area or if enemies enter it; two Vomvalyst Interference Drones appear at 90% scan progress and must be killed to resume scanning.
- Repair the Railjack Fuselage in the Dry Dock: Deposit resources to repair the Fuselage. Watch: Cubic Diodes drop from Eximus units on Corpus Ice Planet Tilesets (Europa).
- Recover the Railjack Propulsion System: Cervantes, Earth: Scan and defend the Railjack Propulsion System wreckage on Earth. Watch: Two waves of Interference Drones appear at 40% and 60% scan progress.
- Repair the Railjack Propulsion System in the Dry Dock: Deposit resources to repair the Propulsion System. Watch: Carbides drop from Eximus units on Grineer Shipyard Tilesets (Ceres).
- Recover the Port Nacelle: Plato, Lua: Scan and defend the Railjack Port Nacelle wreckage on Lua. Watch: Interference Drones appear at 30%, 60%, and 90% scan progress; Sentient Conculysts and Battalysts may appear.
- Repair the Port Nacelle in the Dry Dock: Deposit resources to repair the Port Nacelle.
- Recover the Starboard Nacelle: Tessera, Venus: Scan and defend the Railjack Starboard Nacelle wreckage on Venus. Watch: More Interference Drones appear per wave, with up to 4 drones in the last wave at 90%.
- Repair the Starboard Nacelle in the Dry Dock: Deposit resources to repair the Starboard Nacelle.
- Recover the Tail Section: Berehynia, Sedna: Scan and defend the Railjack Tail Section wreckage on Sedna. Watch: Interference Drones appear at 30%, 50%, and 80% scan progress in larger numbers, with up to 5 drones in the last wave.
- Repair the Tail Section in the Dry Dock: Deposit resources to repair the Tail Section.
- Recover the Engine Cowling: Orias, Europa: Scan and defend the Railjack Engine Cowling wreckage on Europa. Watch: Interference Drones appear at 30%, 50%, and 80% progress, alongside the largest number of Sentient units in the quest.
- Repair the Engine Cowling in the Dry Dock: Deposit resources to repair the Engine Cowling.
- Integration: Confirm Cephalon Cy's integration into the Railjack at the Dry Dock console.

Tips that save runs
- Scanning stops if you leave the circle or an enemy enters it; hold the line, do not roam.
- Eximus units drop the Cubic Diodes and Carbides you need: Europa (Corpus ice) and Ceres (Grineer shipyard).
- Queue the next repair before you farm the next site; the timers run in parallel.
- Relay Dry Docks are free; you do not need a clan to finish this.
Mistakes that waste runs
- Repairing with rush Platinum when a built Railjack costs 400.
- Chasing Interference Drones away from the wreckage and resetting the scan.
