The short answer

Whispers in the Walls opens Albrecht’s Laboratories and the Cavia. Thirteen stages: the Cosmic Clock, the Grimoire and the Fragmented, the 1990s computer, a subway as Arthur, Mirror Defense, a Netracell, and the Suzerain. The gate everyone hits: Back to the Future needs the Grimoire at rank 30 (the quest gives it a free Catalyst and slot), so plan an affinity run mid-quest. It pays the Qorvex blueprint, Tennokai and the melee Arcane adapter, and leads straight to The Lotus Eaters and 1999.

Stage by stage

The Kalymos Sequence: Meet Loid in the Necralisk and investigate the Cosmic Clock.
The Murmur: Explore Albrecht's Laboratories, acquire the Grimoire, and defeat The Fragmented Tide. Watch: The Grimoire is a secondary weapon with unique mechanics; learn to use its alternate fire.
Into the Void: Awaken the Sleeper, meet the Cavia, and hack the 1990s computer to perform Transference into the Vessel. Watch: The hacking mini-game requires matching scrolling symbols while avoiding red corruption dots.
????: As Arthur, fight off Infested humanoids in a 1999 subway and interface with a terminal. Watch: Hold off enemies for one minute after interfacing with the computer.
Back to the Future: Equip the Grimoire in your Arsenal, fully ranked and with an Orokin Catalyst and weapon slot. Watch: Ensure the Grimoire is fully leveled and upgraded before proceeding.
Eyes and Ears: Defend the objective for five minutes against Murmur and rogue Necramechs while collecting Vosphene Glyphs. Watch: This is a Mirror Defense mission; collect glyphs to reinforce defenses.
The Keyglyph: Obtain a Keyglyph from Tagfer to access the Netracells.
The Netracell: Find the Netracell's vault, hack terminals to narrow the search, and acquire the Pom-2 Board. Watch: Eliminate hordes of enemies and Necramite drones to bring down high security after attempting to access the Netracell.
POM-2 Repair: Deliver the Pom-2 Board to Loid and watch Albrecht Entrati's recordings.
Construct Albrecht's Blueprint: Construct "Albrecht's Blueprint" in the Foundry to obtain the Jahu Gargoyle. Watch: The blueprint requires 1 Shrill Voca and 19 Credits, with a build time of 99 seconds.
A New Voice: Activate the Jahu Gargoyle to communicate with the Cavia and learn about the missing Grimoire page.
Lost and Found: Complete an Exterminate mission to retrieve the missing Grimoire page.
Sanctum Under Siege: Return to the Sanctum on foot, defeat The Fragmented Suzerain, and connect the Grimoire to the Gargoyle. Watch: The Operator will be forced out of their Warframe and must perform Transference to pacify a Void-controlled Vessel.
