The short answer

Jade Shadows puts you in the Stalker’s boots for eight short stages: a Spy on Phobos for Bioplasma, a Juggernaut Behemoth on Eris for Cortichrome, a break-in on your own Orbiter, and an escape carrying a newborn. It pays the Jade blueprint, opens Ascension on Uranus for her parts, and the name you pick, Sirius or Orion, comes back in Jade Shadows: Constellations two years later.

Stage by stage

The Lair: Control Stalker, follow jade feathers to a dying Jade.
Anything But That: As Stalker, complete a Spy mission on Phobos to acquire Bioplasma. Watch: Three out of four vaults must be hacked; failing restarts the mission.
Mistreatment: As Stalker, destroy Corpus proxies ambushing you after delivering Bioplasma.
To Catch A Tenno: As Stalker, sneak into the Operator's Transference room on their Orbiter.
The Ancestor: As Stalker, defeat a Juggernaut Behemoth on Eris to acquire Cortichrome.
The Impossible: As the Operator, administer medicine to Jade by timing jump button presses. Watch: The quest progresses even if the minigame is not participated in.
Escape: As Stalker, escape a Corpus assault while carrying your infant son. Watch: Stalker loses access to his arsenal and abilities except for Hate's new energy waves.
Past and Future: Name the newborn child.

Choices and what they change

Sirius or Orion for the child. Constellations later uses it to decide which brother is the Frontman of the Sirius & Orion frame; that can be changed afterwards.
