How to Get Gyromag Systems in Warframe

Last Updated on October 17, 2022

One of the most important resources for creating the Gravimag upgrade, as well as the Cantic, Lega, and Klamora prisms, is the Gyromag System. Plinx, a secondary weapon, also requires a Gyromag System in order to obtain. Needless to say, the Gyromag Systems remain as one of the most sought out crafting components in Warframe as it unlocks doors for you to get powerful gear towards the endgame.

Hence, in this guide, I’ve prepared and compiled every possible method for you to farm Gyromag Systems within Warframe. It’s a relatively short list with an easy grind which is good news for all grinders out there!

Farming Methods And Sources For Gyromag Systems

Completing Bounty Heists

So far, the best way to farm for Gyromag Systems is through Bounty Heists. 5 Gyromag Systems are featured in the prize table of all 4 bounties with a respectable 25% drop rate with each bounty completion.

To access Bounty Heists, you should first make sure that you are ranked Old Mat, the highest title and rank in Solaris United. Anything lower than that will not give you access to start Bounty Heists. You will then speak with Eudico by interacting with the briefing table in Fortuna’s backroom which is right behind Eudico’s typical location. You can also fast travel to the backroom via Little Duck to save yourself some time.

After initiating your first heist, you must first complete four of the bounties in sequence before you can replay them in any order you want. Typically, you should be finished with the entirety of the heist sequence in 20 minutes or so. And don’t worry, even if it’s your first time doing these heists and bounties, you still have the same 25% chance to be rewarded with 5 Gyromag Systems with each bounty completion.

Done with the whole heist? Great! Now here’s a tip that’ll help you out immensely with your Gyromag farm: keep sticking with Bounty #2 or ‘Phase 2’. It’s undeniably the easiest of the bunch and with decent gear, you can expect to complete it every 1-3 minutes or so.

All you need to do in Bounty #2 is to execute the Armaments Director, Vivisect Director, and Sentient Research Director within the Enrichment Labs within four to five minutes, then escape and kill the two remaining Terra Ambulas guarding the data vault within another four to five minutes. The data mass can then be retrieved and returned to Fortuna once all of the bounties’ priority targets are dead. See? Didn’t even take me 5 minutes to explain!

In a nutshell, all you need to do for easy Gyromag Systems is to keep doing Bounty #2. With the right gear or a squad, you can expect 5 Gyromag Systems for every 5 minutes, as long as you get lucky with the RNG.

Purchase from Little Duck for 1,000 Standing

You may also purchase a Gyromag System from Little Duck for 1,000 Standing. This may not sound like a lot, but this has a prerequisite of being rank Hand or higher in Vox Solaris (Syndicate). If you’re down to grind Vox Solaris ranks instead of doing Bounty Heists, then this is definitely a viable farming option for Gyromag Systems.

Conclusion

Gyromag Systems are definitely an easier farm compared to other mats and components in the game. For my last piece of advice, you can first use all of your remaining Standing to buy Gyromag Systems from Little Duck then you can do Heists next if ever you’re still short on them. This is what I personally do and what has given me the best and quickest results when it comes to farming Gyromags in Warframe.
