Tiberon Prime

Build and guide

Build it: alt-fire switches between Burst, Semi-Auto, and Auto, so one rifle covers both crit and status without a loadout swap. Weakness: no Incarnon Genesis adapter and a 42-round mag cap leave it behind current Incarnon primaries in deep Steel Path.

Unique trait: Tri-Fire Select System

Alt-fire cycles three modes: Burst (base stats), Semi-Auto (highest crit, about 42% chance, 3.4x multiplier), and Auto (highest status, about 32% chance, 8.33 rounds/sec). Swap mid-fight to match the target.

Tiberon Prime is the MR14 Primed three-round-burst assault rifle from Ballistic Systems, and it still matters in 2026 because its Burst/Semi-Auto/Auto mode switch gives one gun both crit and status options most rifles can’t match.

How to get the Tiberon Prime

  1. Check Varzia’s Prime Resurgence rotation (Relics tab, in-game) for Tiberon Prime; if it’s currently featured, buy the parts pack directly with Aya or Regal Aya.
  2. If it’s not in rotation, its four void relics (Barrel, Receiver, Stock, plus the main Blueprint relic) are vaulted and no longer drop from missions, so get them from other players via trade chat or a trading site.
  3. Alternatively, skip relics and buy the already-built parts or full blueprint set from another player for platinum through trade chat.
  4. Build the Barrel, Receiver, and Stock in the Foundry (needs Orokin Cells and credits), then build the main Blueprint (20,000 credits, 12-hour timer) once all parts are ready.
  5. There is no Incarnon Genesis adapter for this weapon, so acquisition ends at the base weapon; polarize with Forma as usual afterward.

Because it’s vaulted, prices swing with Prime Resurgence timing; buying parts outright from other players is usually faster than farming trade partners for individual relics. A second copy just means repeating the same relic/parts purchase, there’s no separate riven-fodder shortcut for this one.

Riven disposition is 1.00, average, so a riven is a nice power spike for min-maxers but not something you need to make the gun work.

Builds

Crit build: 28%/3x in Burst climbs to about 42%/3.4x in Semi-Auto, so mod Point Strike, Vital Sense, and Galvanized Chamber, then let Hunter Munitions turn crits into slash procs. Add Cold/Toxin for Viral against Steel Path health pools; swap to Auto for the 32% status floor when proc-stacking armored or DoT targets.

ModWhy it’s here
SerrationFlat base damage is the mandatory first mod on any rifle before crit or elemental scaling matters.
Galvanized ChamberMultishot scales both the crit and status rolls per burst, and its stacking status bonus on multikills fits the weapon’s ~20% status floor.
Point StrikeStraightforward crit chance push that turns the already-decent 28% to 42% base crit into a reliable proc rate.
Vital SenseCrit damage multiplier stacks directly onto the weapon’s strong 3x to 3.4x base multiplier across fire modes.
Critical DelayAdds flat status chance and extends slash proc duration, filling the gap left by an otherwise crit-heavy build.
Hunter MunitionsConverts crit hits into guaranteed slash procs, which synergizes with the weapon’s existing slash share in its damage spread.
Primed Cryo RoundsCold half of a Viral combo, keeps damage scaling against high-health Steel Path targets.
Infected ClipToxin half of the Viral combo plus a status duration bump, useful when parked in the higher-proc Auto fire mode.

Primary Merciless (30% damage on kill, stacks 12x) is the standard pick; Primary Deadhead is a cheaper alternative that pairs well with the crit-leaning Semi-Auto mode.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Three fire modes on one weapon, no loadout swap needed
  • Strong crit ceiling in Semi-Auto (roughly 42%/3.4x)
  • Usable status floor in Auto (roughly 32%) for slash-proc builds
  • Cheap, flexible MR14 rifle once you clear the vaulted-relic hurdle

Cons

  • No Incarnon Genesis adapter, caps below Incarnon-boosted primaries at deep Steel Path
  • Vaulted: relics don’t drop from missions, must trade or wait for Prime Resurgence
  • Modest 42-round magazine compared to top-tier meta rifles
  • Riven disposition is only average (1.00), no big riven power spike to close the gap

Tiberon Prime is for players who want one crit/status rifle to level fast and clear mid Steel Path without carrying two guns, not for min-maxers chasing the top DPS ceiling.
