How To Build Your Railjack – Rising Tide Quest Guide

Last Updated on November 12, 2022

Rising Tide is the new quest in which players unlock their Railjack battleships. But in order to start the quest, there are a few things that players have to complete. In this guide, I will be writing all the things that you have to do to complete the quest and all the requirements as well.

First, you have to start with building a Dry Dock in your clan. Once that is done, head to the Dry Dock and research the Cephalon Cy. After doing this acquire the Cephalon Cy blueprint and craft it from your foundry. Crafting will take 1 hour which can be rushed with platinum. Finally, the quest Rising Tide will unlock. Keep in mind that this quest is locked for players who haven’t completed the Second Dream.

Rising Tide Quest Guide

After you are done with pre-requisites you can finally begin the quest. To begin, head to the Quest Panel in your Orbiter.

Install Cephalon Cy

After Crafting the component, Cephalon Cy will ask you to install him in the Dry Dock. Just head to your Dojo and follow the steps.

After the installation is complete, Cephalon will finally tell you to build a Railjack. This is where the quest starts.

The Fuselage

Cephalon Cy can finally talk to you now. He will ask you to head to Mars and find the Fuselage. Just head to Mars and use the waypoint provided to get to the location. Completely ignore the enemies on your way, upon reaching the location interact with the fuselage to start the scan. This goes like every defense mission, you’ll have to defend the objective for a while. Make sure no enemies come too close to the objective or the scanner will be blocked.

Update: Two sentient drones will also arrive in the mission to block the scanner. Taking them out is pretty easy, you just have to change your attack patterns.

Once the scan is complete, head to the extraction. Upon reaching your Orbiter, Cephalon Cy will ask you to go to the Dry Dock. The fuselage now needs a repair. The requirements for the repair are as follows:

  • 1,000,000 Credits
  • 100 Cubic Diodes
  • 3000 Plastids
  • 15,000 Rubedo
  • 30 Neural Sensors

1 million credits and 100 Cubic Diodes is a steep cost for building a thing. But most of us have 50 million+ credits now. Coming to Cubic Diodes, these are a newly added resource in the game which drop from Eximus enemies on Ceres.

Once you have deposited the required materials, you’ll have to wait 12 hours for the repair to finish. There’s no way to rush this process.

The Propulsion System

Similar to The Fuselage, this is another part of the ship that you need to get and repair. Head to Earth to find the system, the mission will be marked on the navigation screen. The mission is also the same one, just head to the objective, interact with the Propulsion System and wait for the scan to complete. Make sure no enemies come too close to the objective or the scanner will be blocked. While nearing the end, six sentient Drones will arrive, take them out.

After completing the scan, extract. Upon reaching the Orbiter, Cephalon Cy will again ask you to head to the Dry Dock. This time you have to repair the Propulsion System, for that you need the following resources.

  • 1,000,000 Credits
  • 60 Carbides
  • 1000 Cryotic
  • 30 Orokin Cells
  • 20,000 Nano Spores

Yet another part that requires a horde of resources. You need 60 Carbides, this is another resource that drops from Eximus enemies, but only in Europa.

The repair will take around 12 hours to complete. This process cannot be rushed.

Port Nacelle

Yet another part that requires repairing but in a different place. Cephalon Cy will now send you to Lua to obtain this part. Head to the waypoint and interact with the Port Nacelle and the scanning mission will start. The mission is in Lua so make sure that you are geared up with the best equipment. Upon completion of the mission, head to Extract.

Upon reaching the Orbiter, Cephalon Cy will again ask you to head to the Dry Dock. This time you have to install the Port Nacelle. The resources required to do that are:

  • 1,000,000 Credits
  • 60 Carbides
  • 1000 Cryotic
  • 30 Orokin Cells
  • 20,000 Nano Spores

The repair will take around 12 hours to complete. This process cannot be rushed.

More quest steps will be added once the crafting for this part is complete.

I kind of was expecting to complete the mission within a day but it turns out you cannot rush anything at all. Also, the cost of crafting is very big, not for me but for players who were kind of expecting to do this fast. Thanks to the Index, farming for credits isn’t difficult anymore.
