Build it for a fast, self-sustaining akimbo secondary that barely needs reload management. Skip it if raw single-shot damage matters more, since 28 total damage per hit is low even with the high 9.67 fire rate. The automatic holster reload is the standout strength; the weak per-shot damage is the real weakness.
Aiming activates a lock-on mode that targets up to 8 enemies within 60 meters and burst-fires 2 seeking rounds per target. Holstering the weapon reloads it automatically at 8 rounds per second.
Tenet Diplos is the Tenet line’s akimbo secondary, twin auto-fire pistols with a 92 round magazine and a 9.67 attacks-per-second fire rate.
Its aim-triggered lock-on mode swaps the normal spray for burst-fire seeking rounds against up to 8 targets at once, a mechanic unique among Warframe secondaries.
Holster reload means the magazine tops itself back up between engagements without touching a reload button, which keeps it relevant in 2026 sustain-focused loadouts.
How to get the Tenet Diplos
- Finish The War Within and Call of the Tempestarii, and reach Mastery Rank 5.
- Take a Zenith Granum Crown from a Treasurer on a level 31 or higher Corpus ship mission.
- Spend it at a Golden Hand tribute on a Corpus ship mission (level 10 or higher) and clear the Granum Void at Rank 1, the top rank. A Sister candidate spawns after you leave the Void.
- Read the weapon she shows. If it is not the Tenet Diplos, leave her alive and run again.
- Mercy-kill her with the Warframe whose progenitor element you want.
- Hunt her: murmurs on her nodes, Requiem mods on the Parazon, her Hound along the way, then vanquish her in the Railjack showdown on Neptune Proxima.
- The Tenet Diplos arrives with a 25 to 60 percent bonus of that element.
Sister weapons skip their Mastery Rank gate. Valence Fusion merges two copies up to 60 percent and lets you keep either element. Converted Sisters trade in a Clan Dojo. Rank 40 with five Forma.
Stats
| Class | Secondary |

| Mastery Rank | 16 |
| Trigger | AUTO |
| Noise | Alarming |
| Fire Rate | 9.67 |
| Accuracy | 100 |
| Magazine | 92 |
| Reload | 2.8 s |
| Critical Chance | 36% |
| Critical Multiplier | 2.2x |

| Riven Disposition | (0.8) |
| Damage | 28 total |
|---|---|
| Impact | 11.2 |
| Puncture | 9 |

0.8 riven disposition is on the low end, so a Diplos riven mostly smooths out its low 28 total damage rather than transforming the weapon. Not worth farming Kuva specifically for this weapon.
Builds
The high fire rate and low per-shot damage favor multishot and status stacking over raw crit investment, even though 36 percent crit chance is respectable on its own. Galvanized Diffusion and Lethal Torrent push both multishot and status, while the elemental mod slot is built around whatever progenitor bonus rolled, since the weapon has no innate element of its own.

Pistol
| Mod | Why it’s here |
|---|---|
| Hornet Strike | Large flat damage boost that raises the weapon’s low 28 base damage per hit. |
| Barrel Diffusion | Multishot that doubles down on the Diplos’ already high fire rate for more procs per second. |
| Lethal Torrent | Fire rate and multishot together, pushing the already fast 9.67 attack speed even higher. |
| Galvanized Diffusion | Adds multishot, and every kill stacks more multishot for a while. |
| Primed Target Cracker | Flat critical damage for when the 36 percent crit chance connects. |
| Primed Pistol Gambit | Critical chance increase that makes the respectable 36 percent base land more consistently. |
| Primed Heated Charge | Adds Heat damage to build toward Viral or Gas depending on the chosen progenitor element. |
| Magnum Force | +165% damage for -55% accuracy, and the lock-on mode does not care about accuracy. |
Secondary Merciless is the standard pick, a flat damage buff on kill that keeps up easily given how fast the Diplos racks up kills. Secondary Deadhead is the cheaper alternative for players who land headshots consistently through its lock-on mode.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- 9.67 fire rate and 92 round magazine rarely run dry
- Automatic holster reload removes manual reload downtime
- Unique lock-on aim mode for burst damage on multiple targets
- Solid 36 percent crit chance for a fast-firing weapon
Cons
- 28 total damage per hit is low even with high fire rate
- 14 percent status chance needs heavy modding to matter
- 0.8 riven disposition limits how far a riven helps
- Lock-on mode consumes 4 ammo per target, straining the magazine in prolonged fights
Tenet Diplos fits players who want a low-maintenance akimbo secondary that keeps firing without babysitting reloads. It is not the choice for anyone chasing big per-shot numbers.
