Build Innodem because its 22 percent crit / 22 percent status hybrid base plus built-in Incarnon Resilience damage reduction make it one of the stronger Steel Path combo-scaling daggers. The real weakness is a dagger’s tiny base reach, which needs Primed Reach to fix.
Heavy attack at 5x melee combo triggers Incarnon Form for 90 seconds, adding plus 3 range and plus 40 percent attack speed and turning aim-glide strikes into thrown projectiles. Finishers landed during the form stack Incarnon Resilience, a multiplicative damage reduction up to 4 stacks.
Innodem is a Holdfasts syndicate ceremonial dagger with a built-in Incarnon evolution line, and its 22 percent crit / 22 percent status hybrid split plus Incarnon Resilience damage reduction still make it a top Steel Path combo-scaling dagger in 2026.
How to get the Innodem
- Rank up with The Holdfasts syndicate (1999/Hollvania open zone content) to Rank 1, Fallen.
- Buy the Innodem Blueprint from Cavalero for 5,500 standing.
- Gather crafting materials: 30,000 credits, 5x Voidplume Pinion, 10x Voidplume Quill, 15x Entrati Lanthorn, 20x Thrax Plasm. Check the Foundry or Varzia for current drop sources if you’re missing any.
- Build in the Foundry, 1 day timer (or rush with platinum).
- Equip Innodem and land 100 kills with it to unlock the Incarnon Form.
- Clear the follow-up evolution challenges (repeat Incarnon activations, Thrax heavy attacks, Void Flood ruptures, and a solo all-incarnon mission) to unlock every evolution perk choice.
No separate Circuit or Duviri Genesis adapter is needed. The Incarnon form is built into this weapon and unlocks purely through kills and challenge progress, so it can’t be skipped by trading for an adapter.

Riven disposition is 0.65, low on the scale, so skip a dedicated riven unless one falls cheap, since mods and Incarnon evolutions already push crit into orange and red territory without one.
Builds
Innodem’s 22 percent crit / 22 percent status split with a 2x multiplier favors a hybrid combo-scaling build using Blood Rush and Weeping Wounds, both fed by the melee combo counter, pushing crit into orange and red while status climbs with it. Half the weapon’s damage is Slash, so Condition Overload capitalizes on bleed and Viral procs for a large multiplicative bonus.

Melee
| Mod | Why it’s here |
|---|---|
| Primed Pressure Point | Plus 165 percent base melee damage that every percentage mod after it multiplies against. |
| Blood Rush | Converts the rising combo counter into extra crit chance, carrying Innodem’s 22 percent base well past yellow crits. |
| Weeping Wounds | Applies the same combo-to-stat conversion to status chance, so the status half of the 22/22 split keeps scaling instead of falling behind. |
| Organ Shatter | Adds flat crit damage so the orange and red crits Blood Rush generates hit for more. |
| Condition Overload | Multiplies damage per unique status effect on the target, lining up with Innodem’s heavy Slash output and easy proc uptime. |
| Berserker Fury | Attack speed on crit hits keeps swings and combo generation fast while the crit-scaling loop runs. |
| Primed Reach | Daggers have the shortest base reach of any melee class, so extra range is close to mandatory to hit more than one enemy. |
| Drifting Contact | Extends how long the combo counter survives between hits so crit and status scaling doesn’t reset mid-fight. |
Melee Duplicate is the best pick, giving yellow crits a chance to strike twice; Doughty, from Eleanor of The Hex, is a cheaper alternative that scales crit multiplier off Puncture status, a good fit since 40 percent of Innodem’s damage is Puncture.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- Excellent 22/22 hybrid crit and status base for a dagger, hybrid scaling mods work cleanly
- Incarnon Form is built in, no Circuit or Duviri grind for a separate Genesis adapter
- Incarnon Resilience gives real stacking damage reduction from finishers in Steel Path
- Aim-glide throws during Incarnon Form add ranged poke a normal dagger lacks
- Slash-heavy 180/144/36 damage split feeds bleed procs and Condition Overload hard
Cons
- MR14 and locked behind The Holdfasts syndicate rank, not available to newer accounts
- 0.65 riven disposition means a riven adds little value even if you buy one
- Base 0.75 attack speed is slow before mods and Incarnon’s speed bonus kick in
- Dagger’s tiny base reach is a real problem until Primed Reach or Incarnon range lands
Innodem is for MR14+ players with Holdfasts standing banked who want a crit/status hybrid dagger with built-in Steel Path damage reduction, riven skipped in favor of Melee Duplicate or Doughty.
