Corufell Prime

Build and guide

Build it if you like heavy-attack melee. 30% crit at a 2.5x multiplier on a weapon whose heavy attack fires two 650-damage energy shots is a real package, and it beats base Corufell on damage, crit, status and attack speed. Skip it if your melee slot is already an Incarnon, because Corufell Prime’s disposition is 0.50x and it can’t be Riven-carried past one.

✦
Unique trait: Scythe that becomes a gunblade

The heavy attack folds the scythe into a gunblade and fires up to two consecutive energy projectiles for 650 Heat each, with a wide radius, infinite body punch through and no ammo cost. The Prime’s whole selling point over the base is that this transformation is faster. Citrine gets the fastest version of all.

Corufell Prime is Citrine Prime’s signature heavy scythe, released with Update 44 on September 23, 2026. Impact on the swings, Heat on the heavy attack, Blast on the slam.

It is a melee weapon you mostly do not swing. The combo is there to charge, the heavy attack is the payload.

Neo C10 holds the only rare. Axi C12 also carries Citrine Prime Neuroptics, so it is the one relic worth refining first.
  1. Neo C10 drops off Eris/Zabala Survival rotation B or Lua/Apollo Disruption rotation A, 14.29% per qualifying roll. Take it Radiant for the Receiver.
  2. Axi C12 off Eris/Xini Interception rotation B or C. Two parts in one relic.
  3. Meso V17 off Mars/Olympus Disruption rotation C, Lith C15 off any Spy rotation B or Profit-Taker Phase 2 rotation C at 15%.
  4. Build costs 15,000 credits, 1 Orokin Cell and the three parts, 12 hours.

Builds

Build for the heavy attack, not the combo. Sacrificial Steel doubles its critical chance bonus on heavy attacks specifically, which is the single most valuable line in this build.

Killing Blow is doing double duty. Corufell Prime’s wind-up is 1.3 seconds, a long time to stand still, and the mod cuts that while adding heavy damage. Corrupt Charge hands you 30 combo on entry so your first heavy attack isn’t a wasted one, and its 50% duration penalty (5 seconds down to 2.5) barely registers on a weapon that spends combo immediately.

Focus Energy and Primed Fever Strike make Corrosive, and the heavy attack’s native Heat stays separate. Condition Overload then scales off both plus the forced Impact on the slam.

Arcane slot: Melee Influence if you’re keeping Electricity uncombined for the chaining, Melee Exposure otherwise. Stance slot takes Galeforce Dawn, which matches the innate polarity.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Heavy attack fires two 650-damage projectiles with a wide radius, infinite body punch through and no ammo cost.
  • 30% crit and 2.5x multiplier on every attack type, including the slam and the projectile.
  • 65 degree block angle, among the widest in the game.
  • Faster gunblade transformation than base Corufell, and faster still in Citrine’s hands.
  • Silent on melee swings and on the slam.
  • Heavy slam does 675 Blast with a forced Lifted proc across 9m.

Cons

  • Riven disposition 0.50x, one dot out of five, and it drags base Corufell down with it.
  • 1.3 second heavy attack wind-up without Killing Blow.
  • Follow through is 0.4x, so swinging through a crowd loses damage fast. Another reason to heavy attack instead.
  • MR 16 is the highest gate in the Citrine Prime set.
  • 20% base status is low for a weapon that wants Condition Overload.
  • Projectile damage halves past 30m.

Heavy-attack builds are having a good year and this is a clean one: no Incarnon grind, no evolution picks, four relics and an Orokin Cell. It won’t out-damage a fully evolved Incarnon melee in Steel Path endurance, but it’ll clear everything short of that, and the gunblade projectile gives you a ranged option most melee weapons don’t have.
