Void Traces Farming in Warframe (2026): Reactant Runs and the Mastery Cap

Collect 10 Reactant in any fissure, and mind the Mastery Rank cap

Last Updated on September 30, 2026

The short answer

Void Traces come from Void Fissures. Collect 10 Reactant and you get 6 to 30 Traces, plus 5 more each time a squadmate picks your relic reward. The fastest place is a Capture fissure with a speed frame like Volt, and your cap is 100 plus 50 per Mastery Rank.

The fast route

  1. Pick a Capture Void Fissure. Bring a relic of that tier, or none if you only want Traces.
  2. Rush toward the target. Fissures spawn Corrupted enemies along the way.
  3. Kill Corrupted enemies and pick up their Reactant.
  4. At 10 Reactant you earn 6 to 30 Traces.
  5. Extract, then refine relics with what you earned.
  6. For a bigger haul, run an endless Defense fissure and collect Reactant each rotation.

Tips that save runs

  • The cap is 100 + 50 x Mastery Rank. Mastery Rank 13 holds 750, and Mastery Rank 30 holds 1,600.
  • A Resource Booster doubles the Traces you earn from Reactant.
  • A retriever mod that procs when you pick up the 10th Reactant doubles the Traces.

Mistakes that waste runs

  • Bringing a loot frame. Traces do not drop from enemies, and Desecrate does not add Reactant.
  • Hoarding past the cap. You cannot hold more than 100 + 50 x Mastery Rank.
