The Old Peace Quest Walkthrough (2026): Every Chapter on Tau, Rewards and the Dark Refractory
Last Updated on September 12, 2026
The Old Peace (late 2025) is the Operator’s memory quest: twelve chapters through the Dark Refractory in the Sanctum, back to Tauron Academy, Adis, Margulis and a Ballas who was not yet a villain. It needs The Lotus Eaters, runs solo, and pays the Uriel main blueprint and the Operator Atmosphor. Afterwards the Refractory opens The Descendia and The Perita Rebellion, where Uriel’s parts, the Vinquibus and the Tektolyst mods and arcanes come from.

Stage by stage
- Hide and Seek: Enter the Dark Refractory and use your memories of Adis to find the first lead on Albrecht. Watch: Your body weakens with each dive; that is story, not a fail state.
- Down the Rabbit Hole: Relive memories of friendship with Adis and arrive at Tauron Academy. Watch: Ballas and an aggressive Cephalon named Daklo are present at the academy.
- Back to the Front: Deploy to Tohk-Amn with Adis for a graduation ceremony. Watch: The ceremony is ambushed by Grineer bred by the Anarchs, and Itzam is killed.
- Too Far!: Return to the hideaway and play the message from the Ayatan. Watch: Margulis instructs the Operator and Adis to destroy an Anarch base in the World-Seeder.
- Interrogation: The Operator and Adis discover Ballas altered the kill-codes to destroy Xenoflora. Watch: Adis becomes enraged and battles the Operator, then revives them before dying.
- Fallen From Heaven: Storm Tauron Academy in search of Ballas. Watch: Margulis makes the Operator forget their time on Tau to protect them.
- Peace in His Hands: Fight the Anarchs alongside one of the Orokin Seven; it is Ballas.
- Eden's Ultimatum: The Operator and Adis receive an Ayatan from Margulis containing kill-codes for Anarch bases.
- Assault on Zariman Five-Nine: Use the kill-codes to destroy the Anarch base in the World-Seeder, a Zariman colony ship.
- Battle of the Last Bloom: Engage in a climactic encounter against the Hunhullus and Dactolyst. Watch: The Hunhullus is a colossal Sentient war machine, and the Dactolyst is lithe and deadly.
- The Long March Forward: Continue fighting through the Perita Rebellion. Watch: Perita is scarred by war, requiring survival against the Anarch Dax uprising.
- Retribution: Storm Tauron Academy as Uriel, face Daklo, and confront Ballas. Watch: You play Uriel here; the frame comes home with you afterwards.
