Chains of Harrow Quest Walkthrough (2026): Every Stage, the Nine Captures and the Harrow Blueprint
Rell, the Red Veil, nine emotion captures, and the Harrow blueprint
Last Updated on September 12, 2026
The short answer
Chains of Harrow is the Red Veil horror quest that pays the Harrow blueprint. Eight stages: an empty Steel Meridian ship, Palladino at Iron Wake, a Corpus ship where Rell hunts you, then nine captures with Kinetic Siphon Traps across Deimos, Uranus and Earth, and an Operator-only finale in the Void. Buy the traps from Simaris before you start and grab the Mote Amp from Onkko; the last mission is all Operator.
Reviewed September 12, 2026, current through Update 43.5. Stage names and order checked against the official wiki; this page is re-checked after every major patch.

Bring
- Kinetic Siphon Traps (sufficient number)
- Specters (optional, for final mission)
- Amps (optional, for Operator combat)
Stage by stage
- Investigate the Message: Pacific, Earth: Track a signal to an abandoned Steel Meridian ship and investigate. Watch: You must defend Palladino from a horde of Red Veil operatives until a timer runs out.
- Meet Palladino at Iron Wake: Earth: Travel to Iron Wake and meet Palladino using Transference.
- Find Rell's Relic: Hydra, Pluto: Search a Corpus ship for Rell's relic, the Donda. Watch: A hostile manifestation of Rell appears; you cannot kill it and must escape to extraction.
- Return to Iron Wake: Return the Donda to Palladino and complete a minigame. Watch: The minigame requires choosing the correct emotion from cards.
- Capture Rell's Manifestations: Exequias, Deimos: Find and capture three of Rell's emotions using Kinetic Siphon Traps. Watch: Rell's main manifestation will hunt you and cannot be killed, only evaded.
- Capture Rell's Manifestations: Stephano, Uranus: Find and capture three more of Rell's emotions using Kinetic Siphon Traps. Watch: Red Veil Fanatics and zombies will also attack you.
- Capture Rell's Manifestations: Everest, Earth: Find and capture the final three of Rell's emotions using Kinetic Siphon Traps.
- Enter the Temple: Tiwaz, Void: Enter the temple as the Operator and destroy the chains holding Rell's Warframe. Watch: You must kill Red Veil Fanatics to make the chains vulnerable, then use Void Beam on the glowing chains while evading attacks.

Tips that save runs
- Carry at least a dozen traps; three captures per mission and the first throw sometimes misses.
- Rell's big form cannot be killed; break line of sight and keep capturing the small ones.
- In the temple, kill Fanatics to expose the chains, then Void Beam the glow; you cannot damage a chain that is still shielded.
Mistakes that waste runs
- Starting the capture missions with no traps in the Gear wheel.
- Fighting Rell on Hydra; the mission is a run to extraction.
