The short answer
Apostasy Prologue is a fifteen minute story chapter with nothing to fight. Touch the violet Lua orb in your Personal Quarters, follow the trail through the Reservoir on Lua, and watch the Void scene that takes the Lotus away. It pays nothing and unlocks The Sacrifice, which is why it exists. Build the Personal Quarters from The War Within first.

Stage by stage
- The Orbiter: Personal Quarters: Interact with the floating violet Lua orb. Watch: Cannot be in a squad when touching the object.
- Lua: The Reservoir: Follow the purple trail to a broken Reservoir. Watch: Must enter Operator mode to proceed down the pit.
- The Void: The Jade Light: Proceed through the hall to find a pod and witness a cutscene. Watch: The Operator is knocked back by an energy shockwave if attempting to follow Ballas.
- Epilogue: Return to the Orbiter and receive a transmission from Ordis.
