Build it: it’s a crit and status assault rifle that also charges a free AoE grenade launcher every 5 kills, clearing clusters through walls with no ammo cost. The alt-fire only unlocks after those 5 primary-fire kills, so it can’t be fired on demand like a true launcher.
Every 5 primary-fire kills charge one alt-fire grenade that explodes in a 6 meter radius, bounces up to 7 times, and detonates through walls with no line of sight needed. The grenade round carries higher crit and status chance than the auto-fire mode.
Trumna is an Entrati-made automatic rifle that fires explosive Heat and Impact rounds and charges a free alt-fire grenade launcher off kills, and it still matters in 2026 because one loadout slot covers both precise crit damage and periodic AoE clear.
How to get the Trumna
- Reach Rank 3, Associate standing with the Entrati on Deimos (grind Bounties and Isolation Vaults in the Cambion Drift).
- Buy the main Blueprint from Father for 5,000 standing.
- Buy the three component blueprints (barrel, receiver, stock) from Father, 2,500 standing each, 12,500 standing total for the full set.
- Farm the Deimos crafting resources each blueprint calls for (check the exact list in the Foundry) plus credits, then build each part.
- Build the completed weapon in the Foundry once parts finish, then equip and rank it up like any other primary.
- For Trumna Prime, pull its parts from the current relic rotation or Prime Resurgence at Varzia. Check the in-game Relics screen or Varzia’s rotating stock for the exact relics since these rotate over time.
Trumna Prime parts cannot be bought outright with standing, only crafted from relics or picked up via trade chat and Varzia’s ducat and platinum rotation, and a second copy does not carry over forma or catalyst investment from the original.

Trumna’s riven disposition is 0.85, two of five circles, which is low, so a riven is worth using only if you already own one and want to polish an existing build, not worth chasing as a priority.
Builds
Trumna runs 24% crit chance, a 2.2x multiplier, and 30% status, so it’s a hybrid: build crit-primary with status support, stacking crit chance, crit damage, and a Galvanized multishot mod so status kills feed more crit chance. Add Cold and Toxin so Viral stacks on the weapon’s innate Heat, stripping armor and boosting health damage on Steel Path targets.

Rifle
| Mod | Why it’s here |
|---|---|
| Serration | Flat base damage that scales every auto-fire hit and status proc, the foundation before anything else goes on. |
| Point Strike | Straight crit chance, needed since Trumna’s 24% base is decent but not high enough to crit reliably on its own. |
| Vital Sense | Crit damage that makes the modest 2.2x base multiplier actually hit hard once crits land. |
| Critical Delay | Adds both crit chance and status chance in one slot, matching Trumna’s genuine hybrid 24 percent and 30 percent split. |
| Galvanized Chamber | Multishot plus stacking crit chance on status kills, which compounds with Trumna’s already solid 30% status. |
| Galvanized Aptitude | Status chance and crit damage that both scale further with status kills, reinforcing the same crit and status loop. |
| Primed Cryo Rounds | Cold damage that combines with an added Toxin mod into Viral, stacking on top of Trumna’s innate Heat instead of replacing it. |
| Malignant Force | Toxin damage that completes the Viral combo and adds raw damage against unshielded and non-robotic enemies. |
Primary Deadhead is the top pick because its headshot crit chance stacks alongside the alt-fire charge, and Primary Merciless is a cheaper stand-in for flat crit damage on any crit kill.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- Genuine hybrid crit and status stat line for an assault rifle (24% crit, 2.2x multiplier, 30% status)
- Alt-fire grenade clears rooms through walls: 6 meter radius, up to 7 bounces, no line of sight needed
- Large 200 round magazine (250 on Prime) keeps auto-fire uptime high between reloads
- Prime variant adds more damage, magazine, and reload speed, so it scales cleanly into late-game content
- Handles both single targets and crowds without swapping weapons
Cons
- Alt-fire only unlocks after 5 primary-fire kills, so it cannot be fired on demand like a true launcher
- Auto-fire’s own explosion radius is small (1.6 meters), unreliable for crowd clear without the grenade
- Noticeable recoil on full-auto that needs a mod or arcane investment to control at range
- 12,500 standing plus a Deimos resource grind is a slow unlock for a new player
This is for players who want one primary that covers crit damage and periodic AoE clear without carrying a second weapon, especially in Steel Path where headshot kills charge the alt-fire fast.
