Tenet Spirex

Build and guide

Build it if a precision secondary with a genuine crit-and-status hybrid profile appeals, since that combination is rare among pistols. Skip it for room-clear Steel Path since the 2.33 fire rate and single-target burst do not clear crowds fast. The Bullseye Reload passive rewards accurate play but cannot fix the small 8 round magazine.

Unique trait: Bullseye Reload

Landing a headshot grants a stacking reload speed buff, up to 50 percent for 4 seconds across two stacks. Shots also detonate in a 2 meter radius with a guaranteed Impact proc on direct hits.

Tenet Spirex is a Tenet railgun-style pistol that fires slow, heavy Heat-explosive rounds rather than a fast-firing burst.

Its 26 percent crit chance and 2.4x multiplier pair with a strong 40 percent status chance, making it one of the few secondaries built for both crit and status at once, which keeps it in ‘underrated secondary’ discussion through 2026.

The Bullseye Reload passive rewards aimed headshots specifically, so it plays best as a precision weapon rather than a spray-and-pray sidearm.

How to get the Tenet Spirex

  1. Finish The War Within and Call of the Tempestarii, and reach Mastery Rank 5.
  2. Take a Zenith Granum Crown from a Treasurer on a level 31 or higher Corpus ship mission.
  3. Spend it at a Golden Hand tribute on a Corpus ship mission (level 10 or higher) and clear the Granum Void at Rank 1, the top rank. A Sister candidate spawns after you leave the Void.
  4. Read the weapon she shows. If it is not the Tenet Spirex, leave her alive and run again.
  5. Mercy-kill her with the Warframe whose progenitor element you want.
  6. Hunt her: murmurs on her nodes, Requiem mods on the Parazon, her Hound along the way, then vanquish her in the Railjack showdown on Neptune Proxima.
  7. The Tenet Spirex arrives with a 25 to 60 percent bonus of that element.

Sister weapons skip their Mastery Rank gate. Valence Fusion merges two copies up to 60 percent and lets you keep either element. Converted Sisters trade in a Clan Dojo. Rank 40 with five Forma.

1.05 riven disposition is close to average, better than most Tenet secondaries, so a good Spirex riven is a reasonable pickup if one turns up cheap. It is still not a priority farm.

Builds

The hybrid crit and status stats support either lane. A crit build runs Primed Pistol Gambit and Primed Target Cracker off the 26 percent and 2.4x base, while a status build leans on Galvanized Diffusion for multishot and post-kill status chance. Most 2026 builds default to crit-forward since the low fire rate makes triggering Galvanized procs slower than on rapid-fire pistols.

ModWhy it’s here
Hornet StrikeFlat +220% damage at max rank, the base every other bonus multiplies from.
Barrel DiffusionMultishot, doubling the odds of a proc or crit per trigger pull.
Lethal TorrentAdds both fire rate and multishot, helping offset the slow 2.33 base fire rate.
Galvanized DiffusionAdds multishot, and every kill stacks more multishot for a while.
Primed Target CrackerFlat critical damage increase for bigger headshot crits.
Primed Pistol GambitCritical chance increase that pushes the 26 percent base into reliable crit range.
Primed Heated ChargeAdds more Heat damage on top of the weapon’s innate Heat for stronger Gas or Blast procs.
Creeping BullseyeCritical chance and accuracy increase at a fire rate cost the slow-firing Spirex barely notices.

Cascadia Flare is the top arcane when Heat procs are landing consistently, adding stacking heat damage. Secondary Merciless is the cheaper, more available substitute, granting a flat damage boost on kill that does not depend on proc uptime.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Rare secondary with both solid crit and solid status
  • Built-in Heat rounds explode for small area damage
  • Bullseye Reload rewards accurate play with faster reloads
  • 1.05 disposition gives better riven potential than most Tenet weapons

Cons

  • 2.33 fire rate is slow for crowd-clear content
  • 8 round magazine forces frequent reloads without the headshot buff
  • Single-target focus struggles against dense Steel Path mobs
  • Sister hunt and Requiem farming is a real time investment

Tenet Spirex suits players who want a precision secondary that rewards headshots with both damage and reload speed. It is not the pick for a primary-less room-clear loadout.
