Build it if you want a genuine burst nuke for tough single targets, especially Acolytes and eximus units. It’s solid A-tier, not meta-defining, 5th of 10 Tenet weapons in the 2026 rankings. Skip the grind if Laetum or Tenet Cycron already fill your burst-damage slot.
Alt-Fire dumps the whole 6-round magazine in one burst, about 8 rounds a second, all 10 pellets per round landing almost simultaneously. It shuts off aim-down-sights for the duration, so aim-gated Arcanes and Focus bonuses sit that burst out.
The Tenet Detron is Parvos Granum’s take on the old Detron hand cannon, the secondary in the Sisters of Parvos weapon pool. Base damage is pure Radiation: 26 per pellet, 10 pellets a shot, 260 total. Add a Sister’s bonus element on top and the numbers on the Arsenal screen get real.
Not top-tier. It’s genuinely good if you like burst damage over sustained fire, and getting one, by killing a Sister who happens to be carrying it, beats another relic grind.
Fair warning: Rainollon ranks this dead last among Tenet weapons, while the written tier lists put it mid-pack. Watch the build either way. It’s what makes the gun work.
How to get the Tenet Detron
You don’t farm this from a relic. You hunt a Sister of Parvos and kill her before she can talk.
If you haven’t unlocked Sisters of Parvos yet, clear these first:
- Complete The War Within. Cost: base quest, no additional requirement.
- Complete Call of the Tempestarii. Cost: base quest, no additional requirement.
- Reach Mastery Rank 5 with no active Kuva Lich. Cost: none, just the rank and a clear Lich queue.
Once Sisters are unlocked, go hunt for the weapon itself:
- Run a Corpus Granum Void mission and find a Candidate. Cost: free, RNG spawn on the mission.
- Convert the Candidate into a Sister of Parvos. Cost: none beyond the interaction.
- Track the Sister down and check her held weapon before you engage her. The game shows it before the fight starts.
- If she’s holding a Tenet Detron, Vanquish her outright. Don’t Mercy or convert her. Reward: the Tenet Detron drops “Ready to Claim” straight into your Foundry, no Dojo trip required.
- If she’s holding a different weapon, back out and find a new Candidate instead. The weapon is locked to whatever she’s carrying when you fight her.
The listed Mastery Rank requirement is 16, but per wiki.warframe.com that gate isn’t enforced on weapons claimed through a Vanquish kill. Any Mastery Rank can walk away with one.
The 25-60% bonus elemental roll is separate from all of this. Push it toward the cap with Valence Fusion:
- Farm a second Tenet Detron the same way, by Vanquishing a second Sister holding one. Cost: a full second farm, no shortcut.
- Valence Fuse the two copies in the Foundry. Effect: the higher of the two bonus percentages is multiplied by 1.10, capped at 60%.
- Repeat with additional copies if you’re still under the cap. Note: a fusion partner already at roughly 52.8% or higher hits the 60% cap in a single fusion.

Riven disposition reads 1.00x, 3 of 5 circles, on the current wiki and Overframe pages. Some older cached Overframe builds still show 0.95x, so don’t be surprised if you see both numbers floating around. Either way, a Riven won’t swing this weapon the way it would a low-disposition pick.

For the arcane slot, Secondary Deadhead is the top pick: +120% damage for 24 seconds on a precision headshot kill at max rank, stacking up to 3x, plus +30% headshot multiplier and -50% recoil. It procs easily too, since only one of the Detron’s 10 pellets has to land the killing headshot. Players stacking huge kill counts sometimes run Secondary Merciless instead, for +30% damage per kill up to 12 stacks plus +30% reload speed at max rank.

- Every copy carries a free 25-60% bonus elemental roll from its progenitor Sister, and Valence Fusion pushes that toward the 60% cap with a second copy.
- The MR16 listing isn’t enforced on weapons claimed by Vanquish, so any Mastery Rank can walk away with one.
- Pure Radiation base damage slots straight into Radiation, Viral, or Magnetic status builds without fighting an awkward native IPS split.
Cons
- The 6-round magazine limits sustained semi-auto fire, even with a roughly 1-second reload.
- Riven disposition sits at 1.00x, 3 of 5 circles, average. A Riven won’t transform this weapon the way it would a low-disposition pick.
- Alt-Fire turns off aim-down-sights for its duration, so aim-gated Arcanes and Focus bonuses can’t apply mid-burst. That’s a real ceiling on its headline damage tool.
- It sits mid-pack for 2026: A-tier and 5th of 10 Tenet weapons, clearly behind Incarnon secondaries like Laetum, Tenet Cycron, Kuva Nukor, and Epitaph.
- One build-guide video calls it, half-jokingly, the worst Tenet weapon. Two independent tier lists disagree and rank it comfortably mid-to-upper tier.
This is a secondary for players who want one enormous answer, not sustained trigger time. Strong pick for Acolytes, tanky single targets, and Radiation, Viral, or Magnetic status builds. Skip it if Laetum or Tenet Cycron already cover your burst-damage slot, since the Detron won’t out-damage those.
If you’re farming Sisters anyway, grab two Tenet Detrons: one to Vanquish for the weapon itself, a second purely for Valence Fusion.
