Tenet Livia

Build and guide

Build it for a crit-forward nikana with a genuinely high 2.2x multiplier and slash damage above 90% of its total. The blocking-angle passive is a minor bonus at best since few players block manually. Real weakness: it’s Ergo Glast rotation stock rather than a Sister drop, so landing the exact bonus element takes patience or platinum.

Unique trait: Guarded Stance

Blocking an attack has a 20% chance to permanently widen the weapon’s blocking angle by 5 degrees, stacking up to 5 times. Holstering the nikana pauses combo duration instead of draining it.

Tenet Livia is a two-handed nikana bought from Ergo Glast, not a Sister drop, despite carrying the Tenet name.

Its selling point in 2026 is a genuinely strong crit profile for a Tenet weapon: 28% crit chance and a 2.2x multiplier, paired with damage that’s almost entirely Slash.

The blocking-angle passive is a novelty most players never lean on in practice, and the real draw is a clean crit-status hybrid melee that slots into any Blood Rush build.

How to get the Tenet Livia

  1. Farm Corrupted Holokeys in Void Storm Railjack missions (the Railjack fissures); each Void Storm has a chance to drop a stack.
  2. Visit Ergo Glast, the Perrin Sequence representative, in any Relay and buy the Tenet Livia for 40 Corrupted Holokeys.
  3. His stock rotates every four days at 00:00 UTC, one copy of each weapon per rotation, and each rotation rolls a new bonus element and percentage. Wait for the roll you want or buy now and fuse later.

The Mastery Rank gate is enforced on store-bought Tenet weapons. Valence Fusion merges two copies up to 60 percent and lets you pick the element. Rank 40 with five Forma.

0.95 riven disposition sits in the average 3-dot band, so rivens roll close to full value. Worth chasing only if the weapon becomes a main, since the base crit and status numbers already carry a build fine unrolled.

Builds

Standard crit-status hybrid: Blood Rush and Weeping Wounds off the combo counter turn both stats up together, Organ Shatter adds critical damage to actually capitalize on the crit chance, and Condition Overload multiplies damage per status type already applied. Since base damage is almost pure Slash, one added elemental mod is enough to open a second status type without diluting the Slash proc rate too much.

ModWhy it’s here
Primed Pressure PointFlat melee damage, the base of any serious build.
Blood RushTurns combo multiplier into extra crit chance, the main lever on a weapon whose 28% base crit is already decent.
Organ ShatterAdds critical damage so the higher crit chance from Blood Rush hits for real damage.
Weeping WoundsTurns combo multiplier into extra status chance to keep Condition Overload fed.
Condition OverloadMultiplies damage per unique status type on the target, scales hard once status chance is high.
Sacrificial Steel+220% critical chance, doubled on Heavy Attacks.
Corrupt ChargeStarts every fight with +30 combo for an early Heavy Attack; combo decays faster in return.
Killing BlowHeavy Attacks hit for +120% and wind up faster.

Melee Influence is the top pick if the build runs an Electric-flavored bonus element, spreading status procs to nearby enemies on hit. Melee Animosity, which grants stacking crit chance on heavy attacks, is the cheaper and easier to farm alternative.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Strong crit chance and a genuinely high 2.2x multiplier for a Tenet weapon
  • Damage is almost entirely Slash, so it bypasses armor well
  • Holster-pauses-combo passive is forgiving between fights
  • Fast 1.08x attack speed keeps the combo counter climbing

Cons

  • Blocking-angle passive rarely matters in normal play
  • Random progenitor element from Ergo Glast, no player choice like a Sister drop
  • 0.95 disposition means rivens aren’t dramatically stronger than the base kit

Good pick for a crit-status nikana that doesn’t need a Sister hunt, just patience for Ergo Glast’s rotation. Skip it if the blocking gimmick was the reason for interest, since it barely shows up in real missions.
