Stahlta

Build and guide

Build it: the 24% crit / 22% status hybrid line feeds Hunter Munitions for guaranteed Slash bleed, giving cheap, reliable Steel Path scaling with no Incarnon RNG needed. Its weakness is a slow 1.6s alt-fire charge and a below-average 1.8x crit multiplier, keeping it off top DPS charts next to Incarnon and Kuva/Tenet primaries.

Unique trait: Charged Detonator

Primary fire launches slash-heavy nail projectiles with 1.2m punch-through. Charged alt-fire embeds a heavy rod that detonates 0.36s later for a 7.2m Radiation blast, penetrating walls with no line of sight needed.

Stahlta is a Corpus automatic rifle with a slash-focused nail gun and a wall-piercing Radiation charge alt-fire, and in 2026 it still matters as a no-Forma budget Steel Path pick that scales via Slash bleed without a riven or Incarnon adapter.

How to get the Stahlta

  1. Complete the Deadlock Protocol quest first, it gates the Granum Void content this weapon’s parts come from.
  2. Farm the Jackal boss on Venus for the Stahlta blueprint (roughly a 15% drop chance, expect repeat runs).
  3. Run Corpus Ship tileset missions and kill the Treasurer enemy that spawns mid-mission for a Granum Crown.
  4. Use a normal Granum Crown on a Golden Hand Tribute statue to open the Granum Void, then enter the portal with your squad within 30 seconds.
  5. Clear Void rotations to Rotation C for the Receiver. Repeat with an Exemplar Crown (Extended Granum Void) for the Stock, and a Zenith Crown (Nightmare Granum Void) for the Barrel.
  6. Build at the Foundry for 30,000 Credits (1-day build, or rush with Platinum).
  7. Alternative: skip the whole grind and buy the completed weapon for 225 Platinum on the in-game Market.

Exemplar and Zenith Granum Crowns are rarer than normal ones since they need specific mission types to drop the right Treasurer variant, so the Stock and Barrel usually take longer than the Receiver.

Riven disposition is 1.05, mid-scale, so a riven is optional polish for multishot or crit chance, not a must-have, since the weapon works fine unmodded.

Builds

Stahlta’s 24% crit chance, 1.8x crit multiplier, and 22% status chance make it a hybrid, and the 2026 meta leans status/Slash-bleed: Hunter Munitions converts crits into guaranteed Slash procs off its 54% slash damage profile, backed by Galvanized status mods. Add Cold and Toxin for Viral to double bleed-tick damage, since the weak 1.8x multiplier makes a straight crit-stack build weaker than the bleed route.

ModWhy it’s here
SerrationFlat base damage is the first mod on any rifle build and Stahlta has no innate damage bonus to make up for skipping it.
Point StrikeRaises the weapon’s 24% base crit chance to a more reliable range for triggering Hunter Munitions procs.
Vital SenseBoosts the otherwise mediocre 1.8x crit multiplier so crits still hit hard even in a status-leaning build.
Hunter MunitionsConverts crits into guaranteed Slash procs, directly exploiting Stahlta’s 54%-slash damage split for percentage-based bleed scaling.
Galvanized ChamberAdds multishot and scales crit chance with stacked status effects, tying the weapon’s crit and status halves together.
Galvanized AptitudePushes the 22% base status chance higher and adds stacking faction damage as procs land.
Malignant ForceToxin damage and status chance that combines with Cold to form Viral, doubling the effectiveness of the weapon’s Slash bleed ticks.
Rime RoundsCold half of the Viral combo, rounding out the elemental damage needed against health-based Steel Path enemies.

Primary Merciless is the top pick for up to 360% bonus primary damage at rank 5 with no headshots needed, while Primary Deadhead offers the same 360% cap from headshot stacks instead, better suited to the alt-fire’s precision charged rod.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Alt-fire explosion ignores walls and line of sight for room-clearing AOE damage
  • Hybrid 24%/22% crit-status line scales into Steel Path via Slash bleed without needing Incarnon RNG
  • Innate 1.2m punch-through on primary fire
  • Cheap credit-only build cost with no Forma-gated Incarnon grind required
  • Comes with an innate Madurai polarity, saving a Forma

Cons

  • No Incarnon adapter exists for it, capping its ceiling below current top-tier meta primaries
  • 1.6s charge time plus projectile travel time makes the alt-fire clunky against fast or point-blank threats
  • Acquisition is grind-heavy: RNG blueprint from Jackal plus a three-tier Granum Void component farm
  • 1.8x crit multiplier is low, so pure crit-stacking builds underperform compared to Slash-bleed builds

This is for budget-conscious Steel Path players who want dependable Slash-bleed scaling and a wall-piercing AOE without chasing Incarnon Circuit rotations or Kuva/Tenet RNG, not for players chasing the highest parsed DPS number.
