Redeemer Prime

Build and guide

Build it: Full Bore’s fast combo generation feeds Blood Rush crit scaling harder than most melees despite a modest 24% base crit chance. The one real weakness is availability: it’s vaulted with a poor 0.65 riven disposition.

Unique trait: Full Bore Combo Engine

Heavy Attack (Full Bore) fires all ten barrel pellets as a point-blank Blast shotgun blast, forcing Impact procs and ragdolling enemies within about 4 meters. Each hit adds 5 to the melee combo counter, so alternating Full Bore with slash swings stacks combo and Blood Rush crit scaling faster than a normal melee.

Redeemer Prime is the Primed version of the gunblade Redeemer, gated at Mastery Rank 10 with 24% crit chance, 2.2x multiplier, and 30% status chance; it still matters in 2026 because Full Bore’s fast combo generation feeds the Blood Rush crit-scaling builds that define Steel Path melee in the Update 43 era.

How to get the Redeemer Prime

  1. Check the in-game Relics screen or Varzia’s Prime Resurgence rotation first; Redeemer Prime is currently vaulted, so its relics are not in regular mission drop tables and only surface during an unvault window.
  2. If it is not in rotation, trade for Void relics or already-cracked Redeemer Prime parts with other players through trade chat, Warframe Market, or a clan/community Discord.
  3. Run any relics you obtain in Void Fissure missions and select the Redeemer Prime reward when it comes up to claim each part.
  4. Build the Blueprint, Blade, and Barrel/Ornament in the Foundry, then build the finished weapon once every part is ready; use platinum to rush timers if you do not want to wait.
  5. Reach Mastery Rank 10 before you can equip it.
  6. Slot an Orokin Catalyst (self-farmed, or one bundled in a Prime Resurgence pack) to double mod capacity for a full endgame loadout.

Prime parts, including the main blueprint, are generally tradable like other Prime components, so check trade chat for a full part set before assuming you must wait on a Prime Resurgence rotation.

Riven disposition is 0.65, one of the lowest in the game, so only grab a Redeemer Prime riven if it’s cheap since the base 24% crit chance and 2.2x multiplier already scale hard with Blood Rush.

Builds

Redeemer Prime’s 24% crit chance and 2.2x multiplier are middling alone, but Full Bore’s combo generation (5 per enemy hit, doubled with True Punishment) feeds Blood Rush into a reliable crit build: flat damage and crit mods, Blood Rush, Berserker Fury for swing speed, and one elemental mod backing the 30% status baseline for armor strip or DoT. Pure gunblade-shot spam underperforms since the shot’s Blast damage doesn’t scale off melee status mods.

ModWhy it’s here
Primed Pressure PointFlat base damage multiplier that every other percentage-based mod on this list scales off of.
Blood RushConverts the fast-climbing combo counter into crit chance, turning a modest 24% base into reliable orange and red crits.
Organ ShatterAdds flat crit damage that stacks directly onto the weapon’s already strong 2.2x base multiplier.
True SteelFlat crit chance buffer that gives Blood Rush a higher floor before combo has fully ramped up.
Berserker FuryAttack speed on crit accelerates the Full Bore shot into slash swing loop this weapon is built around.
Weeping WoundsConverts the same fast-building combo counter into extra status chance, exploiting the weapon’s already-high 30% base.
True PunishmentDoubles combo counter gain per hit, directly amplifying Full Bore’s signature 5-per-enemy combo bonus.
Primed Fever StrikeAdds Heat elemental damage for armor strip and proc utility to round out an otherwise pure crit-and-slash kit.

Best is Melee Duplicate, a Legendary arcane from Netracells or Deep Archimedea giving base (yellow) crit hits a chance to hit twice; a cheaper alternative is Dexterity, a common Steel Path Acolyte drop with a flat on-kill damage buff.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Full Bore builds combo unusually fast (5 per enemy hit, doubled with True Punishment), supercharging Blood Rush crit scaling
  • Strong 2.2x crit multiplier hits hard once Blood Rush is online
  • 70% slash weighting shreds unarmored and lightly armored enemies
  • Innate ranged shotgun blast lets you poke or crowd-control without swapping weapons
  • Full Bore forces Impact procs and ragdolls enemies within close range

Cons

  • Vaulted, so acquiring it means trading or waiting on a Prime Resurgence rotation
  • 0.65 riven disposition is low, so rivens roll weak stats for their plat cost
  • Weak puncture and impact split struggles against heavy armor without extra elemental mods
  • Full Bore’s Blast damage does not scale off melee status mods, so pure ranged spam underperforms

This is for players who already like gunblades or want a fast, combo-building crit melee with shotgun crowd control, not for those chasing a generic riven-carried Steel Path best-in-slot with better disposition.
