Miter

Build and guide

Build it for its Incarnon Genesis form. Its biggest strength is its high status chance and innate Slash damage. Its real weakness is slow projectile speed and low base critical chance without Incarnon.

Unique trait: Charged Saw Blade

The Miter launches saw blades that can be charged for increased damage, critical chance, and innate punch through. Uncharged shots can be fired rapidly. It takes an Incarnon Genesis adapter from the Steel Path Circuit, which is where most of its 2026 power comes from.

The Miter is a unique primary weapon that fires saw blades. It is known for its high status chance and innate Slash damage, making it effective at applying status effects.

Originally a niche weapon due to its low critical chance and slow projectile speed, the Miter received a significant upgrade with its Incarnon Genesis form, transforming it into a powerful and versatile weapon.

The weapon’s charged shots offer innate punch through and increased critical chance, allowing for effective crowd control and focused damage on tougher enemies.

How to get the Miter

  1. Obtain the Miter Blueprint, Barrel, Blade, Chassis, and Handle components from the dual boss fight against Lech Kril and Captain Vor on Exta, Ceres.
  2. Complete The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman quests.
  3. Unlock The Steel Path.
  4. Earn the Miter Incarnon Genesis from The Circuit’s Steel Path rotation.
  5. Apply the Incarnon Genesis to the Miter via Cavalero in the Chrysalith.

Acquiring all Miter components can be time-consuming due to multiple parts and the Twin Gremlins Blueprint sharing the same drop table.

Builds

Given its high status chance and innate Slash damage, a hybrid build focusing on both critical hits (especially with Incarnon) and status effects is ideal. Viral is the preferred elemental combination to amplify Slash procs. Charged shots benefit from critical chance mods, while fire rate mods reduce charge time.
