How to Beat Captain Vor in Warframe (2026): Break Each Shield, Then Survive the Tunnel
Four health bars, two shield breaks, one laser tunnel, and a guaranteed Cronus
Last Updated on September 30, 2026
The short answer
Captain Vor is a four-bar fight, and each shield phase ends when you kill what he summons: reinforcements first, cannon batteries later. The laser tunnel after the second bar tests movement, not damage. He now drops the Cronus blueprint every time, plus one Seer part.

The fight, bar by bar
- Shoot Vor until his first health bar is empty. He puts up a shield, becomes invulnerable, and calls in Grineer reinforcements.
- Kill every reinforcement. The shield drops and he is vulnerable again.
- When the second bar empties (half his health) he teleports deeper into his lair. Follow him through the tunnels and keep moving, because the laser hallways deal Electricity damage.
- In the platform arena, jump his Void Key beam as it sweeps across the platforms, and stay off the electrified floor.
- Watch for the electrical orbs he sends out, and keep shifting position.
- When the third bar empties he shields again. Destroy both cannon batteries to make him vulnerable.
- Empty the last bar. On Steel Path you also get your guaranteed Arcane.

Tips that save runs
- Update 42 removed Vor's old damage attenuation and the status effects from his weapons and abilities, so plain damage works again.
- Volt's passive resets at the start of the fight, so Vor cannot one-shot you at the opening.
- Clear the summoned enemies fast. The shield stays up until they are gone.
Mistakes that waste runs
- Shooting an invulnerable Vor while his shield is up. Kill the reinforcements or cannon batteries instead.
- Standing still on the platforms. The beam and the orbs punish it.
