Skip the base Furis. It’s flat C-tier, mastery fodder that nearly every other secondary outclasses, so grab the Incarnon Genesis version instead. It turns into a short-range Heat beam, and that beam is still a legitimate level 9999 Steel Path Disruption pick as of September 2026.
Land 20 weakpoint hits with the Incarnon active. Alt-Fire then turns the Furis into a continuous, wide Heat beam pulling from its own 280-round magazine instead of your normal ammo pool. Crit chance, status chance, and damage all spike hard over the base gun’s numbers.
The Furis is really two guns wearing one name. On its own, the upgraded Furis is a forgettable automatic pistol. Nobody builds a loadout around the base form.
The Incarnon Genesis changes that completely. It swaps the whole firing mode for a Heat beam with its own magazine, and that beam is the entire reason to build this weapon.
How to get the Furis
Two pistols share the Furis name. The MK1-Furis is the true MR 0 starter. This guide covers the purchasable Furis.
- Reach Mastery Rank 2. Cost: none, just MR.
- Buy the blueprint from the in-game Market, or unlock it by completing the Earth-Venus Junction. Cost: Credits at the Market, or the Junction itself.
- Build it in the Foundry. Cost: 20,000 Credits, 750 Ferrite, 300 Alloy Plate, 400 Salvage, 4 Neurodes.
- Wait out the 12-hour build, or rush it with Platinum.
That’s the weapon itself. The Incarnon Genesis, the part that actually makes it worth using, is a separate unlock. A longer one.
- Finish The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman, then unlock Steel Path. Cost: story progress only.
- Get the Furis Incarnon Genesis from Cavalero in the Chrysalith. Cost: a Steel Path Circuit reward pick (rotations change, check what’s currently offered), or 120 Platinum one time to buy it outright, which includes the install resources.
- Install it. Cost: 20 Pathos Clamps, 70 Yao Shrubs, 80 Lamentus.

Furis sits at 1.35x riven disposition. Five dots, on the higher end for secondaries. A good riven stacks fine on either build below, but neither one needs it to function.
Builds
Two real builds exist here, and they don’t share a mod slot. Run the Incarnon DPS list below for level-cap Steel Path Disruption, or swap Winds of Purity into one of those slots for up to 20% Life Steal at max rank. The augment costs 25,000 New Loka standing and Pure rank to unlock, and it only affects the Furis itself, not the Afuris or Dex Furis variants.

Pistol
| Mod | Effect |
|---|---|
| Galvanized Diffusion | +110% Multishot, plus +30% Multishot per kill for 20 seconds, stacking up to 4 times. |
| Primed Pistol Gambit | +187% Critical Chance, flat. The core crit mod for the build. |
| Primed Target Cracker | +110% Critical Damage, flat. |
| Lethal Torrent | +60% Fire Rate and +60% Multishot in a single mod slot. |
| Pistol Pestilence | +60% Toxin damage and +60% Status Chance. |
| Frostbite | +60% Cold damage and +60% Status Chance. Sets up the elemental combo into Blast. |
| Primed Heated Charge | +165% Heat damage, the damage type the Incarnon beam actually deals. |
| Pistol Elementalist | +90% Status Damage, which feeds the beam’s Heat DoT ticks, plus +60% Reload Speed. |
There’s no dedicated Furis arcane, since it isn’t a Zaw or Kitgun. Slot a secondary arcane instead: Cascadia Flare for a flat +480% weapon damage per stack with no kill requirement, or Secondary Fortifier if you want more survivability on a long Disruption run. Swap Pistol Elementalist for Scorch if you’d rather keep the base form’s Heat proc uptime and status chance over the extra elemental damage.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- The Incarnon Form turns it into a wide Heat beam with far higher crit, status, and damage than the base weapon.
- One of the few secondaries still holding up at level 9999 Steel Path Disruption, per current tier lists.
- Cheap and fast to build. No Lich or Sister RNG, no expensive blueprint.
- High native fire rate and very high accuracy make the base gun pleasant to use even before you touch the Incarnon.
- Winds of Purity gives it a lifesteal identity almost no other secondary has.
Cons
- The Incarnon beam falls off hard past 10 meters and caps at 16 meters range. Bad for open rooms and long sightlines.
- Base Furis is flat C-tier. Nearly all its value sits behind the Incarnon Genesis grind.
- Winds of Purity costs 25,000 New Loka standing and Pure rank, only buffs direct Furis damage, and doesn’t work on Afuris or Dex Furis.
- The 280-round Incarnon magazine still needs 20 weakpoint hits to charge before it turns on. Real setup time before you’re actually shooting the beam.
This is a level-cap Disruption specialist, not an all-rounder. If you already run Steel Path Disruption and want a Heat-DoT beam that tags conduits at range, the Incarnon grind pays off fast. If you just need a solid secondary for regular missions, put your mod slots and forma somewhere else.
Farming New Loka standing anyway? Winds of Purity turns this same gun into a self-heal tool worth carrying into Rescue and Defense.
