Build it if you own the parts: the airburst grenade’s manual detonation, a 30% crit chance, and a 2.8x multiplier make it a self-sufficient shotgun that needs no riven. The real weakness is a 9% base status chance and vaulted availability, so getting it takes more effort than picking up a current shotgun like Cedo.
The alt-fire grenade has no fixed fuse. It detonates on manual trigger or after traveling about 90 meters, so you can cook shots for precise AoE timing at any range.
Corinth Prime is the Primed version of the pump-action shotgun, added in Hotfix 27.3.6 (March 2020) and vaulted since March 2022, and in 2026 it still matters for its manual-detonation airburst grenade and solid crit profile.
How to get the Corinth Prime
- Hit Mastery Rank 14, the requirement to equip Corinth Prime.
- Check whether Corinth Prime is currently in Varzia’s Prime Resurgence rotation at Maroo’s Bazaar, or via the in-game relic screen, since it has been vaulted since March 2022.
- If it’s in rotation, buy the Corinth Prime relic pack or the finished parts from Varzia using Regal Aya or Platinum.
- If it’s out of rotation, trade other players for the Barrel, Receiver, and Stock on trade chat or Warframe Market, since Prime parts are tradeable.
- If you’d rather farm it yourself, open the specific Corinth Prime relics (check the current in-game relic screen for exact relic names, they rotate and are not pinned here) in Void Fissure missions, using Radiant refinement for better odds.
- Build each part in the Foundry, then build the weapon once all three parts are ready.
- Slot an Orokin Catalyst before modding seriously, since base mod capacity won’t fit a real endgame build.
Buying finished parts on the trade market is almost always faster than farming a vaulted relic from scratch, and picking up a second Corinth Prime (for a separate riven or status loadout) needs nothing beyond another full set of parts and a second catalyst.

Riven disposition is 1, three of five dots, average on the scale, and since Corinth Prime already crits well on its own, a riven is a nice bonus, not something you need to chase.
