Reloading drains a portion of the user’s max health instead of drawing from an ammo pool, and headshots return 5% of that health back. The Necrophagic Vigor augment converts the health spent on reload into stacking critical chance and critical damage.
Coda Hema is the Technocyte Coda upgrade of the Infested burst rifle Hema, sold by Eleanor at The Hex after a Coda Lich is defeated.
It keeps the original Hema’s health-for-ammo reload but improves crit chance, crit multiplier, fire rate, and magazine size over the base weapon.

How to get the Coda Hema
- Finish The Hex quest.
- With no active Lich, Sister or Coda, run a Hollvania Exterminate, Hell-Scrub or Legacyte Harvest and pick up the Mixtape. Hack it (a Potency mod on success) and Arthur announces the new Technocyte Coda.
- Slot up to three Antivirus mods on the Parazon and mercy-kill Coda Duets on the band’s nodes until the right mod confirms; each hit raises the Disinfection meter, and missions on their nodes add 5 percent.
- At 100 percent, follow the Coda to Earth Proxima and finish it in a Railjack showdown for 10 to 15 Live Heartcells.
- Buy the Coda Hema from Eleanor in the Hollvania Central Mall for 10 Live Heartcells. Her shop shows two batches of Coda weapons that rotate every four days, each with a random bonus element and percentage (25 to 60).
Coda members ignore the progenitor system, so the element is whatever the shop rolls; Valence Fusion merges two copies up to 60 percent and lets you keep the element you want. Rank 40 with five Forma.

0.95 riven disposition is high, so a riven is worth chasing on Coda Hema since rolls land close to their potential. Crit chance or crit damage stats pay off most given the weapon’s already-strong 20% crit chance and 2.3x multiplier.
