Build it if you own it or can catch a Prime Resurgence rotation, since the Incarnon Genesis turns this old rifle into a strong status/AoE primary for cheap forma. It’s vaulted so you can’t farm it on demand, and the base kit alone doesn’t compete with newer Kuva or Tenet primaries.
Weakpoint hits charge a meter that lets Alt Fire transmute Boltor Prime into its Incarnon form, with buffed stats and a separate magazine. How to get the Boltor Prime
- Reach Mastery Rank 13, the weapon’s requirement.
- Boltor Prime is currently vaulted. Check Varzia’s Prime Resurgence rotation in Maroo’s Bazaar (or the in-game relic screen) to see if its relics or the assembled weapon are purchasable with Aya or Regal Aya right now.
- If it’s not in rotation, trade other players for the vaulted relics or a finished Boltor Prime/parts.
- Once you have relics, run Void Fissure missions to crack them for parts, then build the weapon and its parts in the Foundry.
- Separately, complete The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman, and unlock Steel Path.
- Watch the Duviri Circuit’s Steel Path reward rotation for the Boltor Incarnon Genesis, or buy it once for 120 Platinum from Cavalero in the Chrysalith if you don’t want to wait for it to come up.
- Bring the adapter, Boltor Prime, and the install resources (20 Pathos Clamps, 60 Rune Marrow, 60 Silphsela) to Cavalero to install it.
The weapon and the Incarnon adapter are two separate grinds bought or built independently; owning one doesn’t unlock the other. The 120-plat adapter purchase is a one-time convenience that skips the Circuit wait but still needs the same install resources.
