Build it if you want a cheap Incarnon melee slot and don’t mind mediocre base numbers. Skip it if you’re hunting for a meta pick; Sportskeeda has it at C-tier, and two other 2026 tier lists don’t rank it at all. The real selling point is price: 65 Platinum or a same-day credit craft, no grind required for the base weapon.
Bo’s damage is almost pure Impact: 126 of 140. That doesn’t normally proc Slash for bleed stacks. The EVO4 evolution Flashing Bleed fixes that: a 40% chance to convert an Impact proc into a Slash proc, though it only counts one instance per strike.
Bo is Warframe’s basic two-handed staff. 140 total damage, almost all Impact, a 12.5% crit chance, and a 3-meter reach that’s long for melee. Nobody builds it for the raw numbers.
Update 43 gives it a reason to exist again: the Incarnon Genesis adapter. Build combo to 6x, land a Heavy Attack, and Incarnon Form triggers: +100% Melee Damage, +4 Range, +50% Heavy Attack Efficiency, +20% Sprint Speed and Bullet Jump, for 180 seconds. It survives holstering, bleedout, and disarms; only death ends it early.
Everything below covers plain Bo. For the same kit with a much better statline, that’s Bo Prime: MR 5, currently vaulted. Pull it from relics you already own, trade for it, or catch it during a Prime Resurgence rotation with Varzia.
Here’s Bo Prime’s Incarnon build running live, uploaded February 2026.
How to get the Bo
Buying it is fast. Unlocking the Incarnon adapter is not.
- Buy it outright from the Market. Cost: 65 Platinum.
- Or buy the Blueprint. Cost: 15,000 Credits, from the Market.
- Gather build materials. Cost: 15,000 Credits, 1 Orokin Cell, 900 Salvage, 600 Ferrite, 150 Alloy Plate.
- Build it in the Foundry. Cost: 12 hours, or Platinum to rush.
It ships with Unairu polarity and the Flailing Branch stance already installed. No extra stance purchase needed.
The Incarnon adapter is the real time sink.
- Finish the prerequisites. Requirement: The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman, both completed.
- Clear Steel Path Circuit runs. Requirement: enough Duviri Steel Path Circuit clears for Bo’s Genesis slot to come up in rotation. It shares a rotation week with Latron, Furis, Furax, and Strun, so it won’t show up every run.
- Craft the adapter with Cavalero. Cost: 20 Pathos Clamps, 70 Dracroot, 80 Kovnik, at the Chrysalith.
- Or skip the grind. Cost: 120 Platinum from Cavalero, materials included, once per account.

Riven disposition sits at 1.35x, identical to Bo Prime. Middle of the pack. Don’t expect a Riven to fix the base stats by itself.
Builds
This build leans on the same formula most combo-scaling melees use. Blood Rush and Weeping Wounds turn your combo counter into Critical Chance and Status Chance. Condition Overload then multiplies melee damage for every status effect already stacked on the target.
Evolution picks matter more than usual here. Overframe’s build notes call two of the three EVO2 and EVO3 branches buggy or gimmicky, without saying which. Real choice narrows to about one solid pick per tier.
| Tier | Evolution | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| EVO2 | Stalwart Oak | +base damage; +30 Parry Angle with 450+ Armor; +300% Combo Count Chance while blocking |
| EVO2 | Swordsman’s Flourish | +base damage; +100% Combo Count Chance with a melee weapon equipped |
| EVO3 | Orokin Reach | +0.5 Range |
| EVO3 | Overhand | Heavy Attack Efficiency set to 20% |
| EVO3 | Swordsman’s Celerity | +20% Movement Speed |
| EVO4 | Flashing Bleed | 40% chance to convert an Impact proc into a Slash proc, caps at one instance per strike |
| EVO4 | Subtle Force | Flat +Critical Chance and +Status Chance |
| EVO4 | Absolute Dominion | Flat +Status Chance |
Flashing Bleed is the pick that defines this weapon. Skip it and Bo is just an Impact stick with decent reach.

Melee
| Mod | Effect |
|---|---|
| Flailing Branch | Stance, pre-installed. Sets the combo tree the rest of this build scales off. |
| Condition Overload | +80% Melee Damage per status type affecting the target |
| Blood Rush | +40% Critical Chance, stacks with Combo Multiplier |
| Primed Fury | +55% Attack Speed |
| Sacrificial Steel | +220% Critical Chance (x2 for Heavy Attacks); x1.33 damage to Sentients |
| Weeping Wounds | +40% Status Chance per Combo Multiplier |
| Organ Shatter | +90% Critical Damage |
Melee Influence shows up in build guides for this exact combo-scaling archetype, though nothing Bo-specific spells out why it beats other options. Treat it as a reasonable pick, not a settled one.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- 3-meter base range, longer than most melee weapons, stretched further by Incarnon evolutions.
- MR 0 and cheap: 65 Platinum or a same-day credit craft. No farming gate.
- Flashing Bleed gives a nearly pure-Impact weapon access to Slash procs for bleed stacking, something most Impact weapons can’t do.
- Ships with Unairu polarity and Flailing Branch pre-installed, saving a Forma and a stance purchase.
- Multiple community write-ups say it handles Steel Path dailies and base Steel Path content fine once built.
Cons
- C-tier on Sportskeeda’s September 2026 Incarnon tier list, and absent from timesaver.gg’s and axeetech’s tier lists entirely. Off the meta radar.
- Flashing Bleed’s Impact-to-Slash conversion caps at one instance per strike, so the weapon’s own gimmick is RNG-limited.
- Plain Bo’s base stats are mediocre: 140 total damage, 12.5% crit, 20% status. Real performance needs Bo Prime, and it’s vaulted.
- Outclassed by other melee Incarnons in the same conversation, namely Magistar for utility and Hate for raw damage.
- Two of the three EVO2/EVO3 branches are called out as buggy or gimmicky, leaving about one good pick per tier.
Bo earns its spot only as a cheap Incarnon melee slot with mediocre numbers behind it. Not a meta pick. Sportskeeda puts it at C-tier; two other 2026 tier lists skip it entirely.
If you already have Bo Prime sitting in your relics, there’s no reason not to build this out. If you’re starting from zero Platinum and zero relics, spend that investment somewhere the meta actually agrees on.
