The short answer
There are ten Sentinels. Taxon is free from a Junction, Carrier, Dethcube, Diriga, Shade and Wyrm are Market blueprints, Helios and Djinn come from clan research, and Oxylus and Nautilus come from Fortuna and Neptune Proxima. For a first pick, Carrier loots and Wyrm blocks status effects. Six have Prime versions.

Getting one
- Free start: finish the Earth to Venus Junction for Taxon.
- Market: buy the blueprint for Carrier, Dethcube, Diriga, Shade or Wyrm with Credits, then build it in the Foundry.
- Clan: research Helios in the Energy Lab or Djinn in the Bio Lab, then buy the blueprint from the Dojo.
- Fortuna: reach Old Mate with Solaris United and buy Oxylus from The Business.
- Neptune Proxima: farm Nautilus parts in Railjack missions. See the Nautilus page.
- Prime versions of Carrier, Dethcube, Helios, Nautilus, Shade and Wyrm are obtained through Void Relics.
Tips that save runs
- Every Sentinel needs two open companion slots: one for it and one for its weapon.
- Companions use their mods in the order you placed them, so put the important precept first.
Mistakes that waste runs
- Buying a Sentinel for its stats and ignoring the precept. The precept is why you slot it.
- Looking for a Prime of Taxon, Diriga, Djinn or Oxylus. None exist.
