Kullervo is the top pick for Disruption, no contest. Tharros Strike strips the demolyst’s armor, then Wrathful Advance closes it out in one or two casts before the thing ever reaches the conduit, and the wiki itself calls this combo one of the fastest demolyst kills in the game. Ash is the budget runner-up: one throw of Seeking Shuriken strips 70% of its armor, and Blade Storm finishes it like a scripted assassination.

| Frame | Why it works | Build focus |
|---|---|---|
| Ash | Seeking Shuriken strips 70% armor, Blade Storm executes | Strength + Duration |
| Mesa | Peacemaker gunfire ignores nullify pulses from range | Efficiency + Strength |
| Kullervo | Tharros Strike plus Wrathful Advance, 1-2 cast kill | Strength + Efficiency |
| Gauss | Thermal Sunder nuke outruns the self-destruct timer | Duration + Efficiency |
| Nova | Molecular Prime slows it between nullify pulses | Strength + Duration |
| Khora | Ensnare is a confirmed hold, not a stun | Strength |
Best weapons for Disruption
| Weapon | Why |
|---|---|
| Redeemer Prime | Its Full Bore heavy attack lands one huge Blast-damage hit instead of grinding through the demolyst's DPS-scaling resistance, and being a melee gunblade it stays in your hands while you're stuck carrying the conduit key. |
| Kuva Nukor | The chaining beam keeps dealing damage while you're hauling the conduit key (primaries lock out) and its continuous-fire, high-crit profile eats into the demolyst's resistance better than burst automatics. |
| Epitaph | Charged shots are a precise single-target crit burst and the guaranteed Cold proc slows the demolyst's charge toward the conduit, all from a secondary usable while you're carrying the key. |
| Stropha | Its Full Bore heavy attack can nearly one-shot a demolyst when paired with an armor-strip frame, without the self-stagger risk that comes from firing AoE launchers at point-blank range near the conduit. |
Ash: blink in and delete it
Blade Storm’s mark-and-teleport chain slots right between the demolyst’s nullify pulses, and it doesn’t miss. Throw a maxed Seeking Shuriken first and it strips 70% of the target’s armor in one cast, so Blade Storm’s damage doesn’t get eaten alive by armor scaling. That one-two punch is why Ash keeps getting called “arguably the best” pick, even though that reputation traces back to a handful of connected guides rather than any real consensus.

WARFRAME

WARFRAME
Ash is cheap and farmable early, and even an unranked Seeking Shuriken still strips meaningful armor. A Forma-light build is playable well before Steel Path.
Mesa: gun it down from range
Peacemaker’s autolock keeps landing hits through a demolyst’s nullify pulses because it’s sustained gunfire, not a fresh status effect the pulse can strip away. That means you can plink one down from across the room and never walk into finisher range. It’s about as safe as demolyst hunting gets.

Mesa
Mesa barely needs weapon investment at all since Peacemaker is exalted. Even a barely-modded Mesa still puts up real demolyst damage if you already own her.
Kullervo: strip it, then one-shot
Tharros Strike strips the demolyst’s armor on contact, then Wrathful Advance teleport-strikes into a heavy melee combo that ends it in one or two casts. Wiki editors flag this exact combo as one of the fastest demolyst kills in the game. Nail the timing and the conduit barely gets touched.

Kullervo is free to grind from Netracells, but one-casting demolysts reliably wants a decent heavy-attack melee with forced slash. Budget runs will just need a couple extra casts.
Gauss: outrun the self-destruct timer
Thermal Sunder’s heat-then-cold combo detonates into a slash-style nuke big enough to drop a demolyst outright. Redline stacks on top of his already absurd base speed, letting him close the gap and land that burst before the self-destruct timer runs out. Speed is the whole build; everything else is secondary.

Gauss comes from a cheap Orb Vallis bounty farm, no boss fight required. A basic efficiency-and-duration build clears normal Disruption fine without a perfectly optimized Thermal Sunder setup.
Nova: slow it before it sprints
Molecular Prime slows the demolyst between its own nullify pulses, so it can’t sprint for the conduit once it spawns. The wiki specifically calls out Antimatter Drop as ability damage that still connects despite the nullify aura. Slow it, then pop it from range.

Nova

WARFRAME

WARFRAME
Regular, non-Prime Nova is an easy early boss farm. A simple high-strength Molecular Prime build works fine with zero Forma.
Khora: hold it still, then kill
Ensnare is one of the only crowd-control effects the wiki confirms actually holds a demolyst in place, since it counts as an immobilize rather than the stun or knockdown types demolysts are immune to. That hold window is enough time for Whipclaw or a gun to finish the job. Everything else bounces off; this one sticks.

Khora

Khora comes from a Cetus bounty farm, not a plat purchase. Plain Whipclaw with decent Strength clears fine even without the Accumulating Whipclaw augment.
Honorable mentions
- Volt: fast weapon platform, unclear CC
- Nezha: solo-play favorite, exact build unverifiable
- Caliban: wiki-listed armor strip, Fusion Strike
- Garuda: Dread Mirror executes, pre-pulse only
