Sybaris

Build and guide

Build it if you enjoy burst-fire rifles and appreciate precision. Its main strength is its tight shot spread, making it excellent for long-range headshots. Its weakness is the need for precise timing to maximize fire rate.

Unique trait: Lever-Action Burst

Fires two bullets in quick succession with minimal recoil, allowing for precise targeting. It takes an Incarnon Genesis adapter from the Steel Path Circuit, which is where most of its 2026 power comes from.

The Sybaris is a Tenno lever-action rifle, introduced in Update 13.3, known for its distinctive two-shot burst fire. It is often compared to the Grinlok as a Tenno equivalent.

This weapon excels in precision, featuring an almost nonexistent recoil and a very tight shot spread. This characteristic makes it suitable for landing both shots of a burst on a small target, even at long ranges, and is ideal for headshots.

The Sybaris has an Incarnon Genesis form available from the Steel Path Circuit, which significantly enhances its capabilities and transforms it, offering newfound strength and evolutions.

How to get the Sybaris

  1. Research the Sybaris blueprint from the Tenno Lab in the Clan Dojo.
  2. Acquire the Sybaris Incarnon Genesis from the Steel Path Circuit after completing The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman, and unlocking The Steel Path.

The Sybaris has a high riven disposition of 1.3, making rivens a strong option for boosting its performance. Its base stats include a 25% critical chance and 2.0x critical multiplier, alongside a 10% status chance.

Builds

Given its 25% critical chance and 2.0x critical multiplier, a hybrid critical/status build is viable. Focus on increasing critical chance and damage, while also boosting status chance to reliably apply Viral procs. The tight burst spread makes headshot multipliers particularly effective.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Excellent accuracy and minimal recoil

  • High riven disposition
  • Incarnon Genesis available for significant power boost

Cons
