Magnus Prime

Build and guide

Build it. This weapon offers excellent critical stats and a unique ammo efficiency buff. Its main weakness is high recoil.

Unique trait: Chamber Cascade

Landing a successful hit or inflicting Status damage has a 4% chance to grant 100% Ammo Efficiency for 4 seconds, refreshing on subsequent shots. It takes an Incarnon Genesis adapter from the Steel Path Circuit, which is where most of its 2026 power comes from.

The Magnus Prime is the Primed variant of the Magnus heavy pistol, offering significant improvements over its base counterpart. It boasts enhanced critical chance, critical multiplier, and status chance, alongside a slightly faster reload speed.

This weapon was released alongside Nidus Prime and Strun Prime. It also serves as a crafting component for the Akmagnus Prime, requiring two Magnus Prime pistols.

A notable feature of the Magnus Prime is its unique ‘Chamber Cascade’ buff. This passive ability grants 100% Ammo Efficiency for a short duration, which can be refreshed, making it highly ammo efficient in sustained fire.

How to get the Magnus Prime

  1. The Magnus Prime is vaulted: its relics no longer drop in missions. Open relics you already own, buy them for Aya when Prime Resurgence lists it, or buy the parts for platinum.
  2. Blueprint: Lith H8, Lith Z3, Meso B6, Meso S15, Neo N18 and 5 more (vaulted relics).
  3. Barrel: Meso M5, Neo M4, Axi M2, Axi M5 (vaulted relics; the rare slot in Meso M5, Neo M4).
  4. Receiver: Neo C2, Neo C3, Neo G4, Neo N19, Neo N22 and 3 more (vaulted relics).
  5. Run the fissure tier that matches each relic, refine the rare part’s relic to Radiant, and pick the best of the four results with a squad.
  6. Build the parts, then the weapon: 12 hours each, or rush with platinum.
