Build it. Corvas Prime is a powerful Archgun, excelling at burst damage against large targets and groups. Its main weakness is the charge shot staggering the player in Heavy Weapon mode.
Fires a large projectile that can hit lines of enemies, with a surrounding wave hitting targets within its small radius even if the center does not directly impact.
Corvas Prime is the Primed variant of the Corvas Archgun, offering significant improvements in damage, critical chance, status chance, and reload speed. It was released alongside Garuda Prime and Nagantaka Prime.
Unlike traditional shotguns, Corvas Prime fires a single, large projectile similar to the Arca Plasmor. This projectile can hit multiple enemies in a line, making it effective for crowd control and against larger targets.
The weapon deals primarily Heat damage and has a guaranteed Impact proc on every shot. It also features innate Madurai and Naramon polarities, aiding in modding flexibility.
How to get the Corvas Prime
- The Corvas Prime is vaulted: its relics no longer drop in missions. Open relics you already own, buy them for Aya when Prime Resurgence lists it, or buy the parts for platinum.
- Receiver: Lith D6, Lith G8, Meso A4, Meso G4, Neo D7 and 3 more (vaulted relics).
- Stock: Lith K10, Lith S12, Meso G5, Neo C3, Neo K8 and 1 more (vaulted relics).
- Blueprint: Lith W3, Meso B8, Meso H8, Neo D5, Neo L2 and 1 more (vaulted relics).
- Barrel: Meso C9, Neo C2, Neo C4, Neo C5 (vaulted relics; the rare slot in Meso C9, Neo C2).
- Run the fissure tier that matches each relic, refine the rare part’s relic to Radiant, and pick the best of the four results with a squad.
- Build the parts, then the weapon: 12 hours each, or rush with platinum.

With a critical chance of 44% and a critical multiplier of 3.0x, Corvas Prime leans towards a critical build. Its status chance of 30% also allows for effective status application. The riven disposition of 0.95 is low, indicating less potent Riven mod bonuses.
Builds
Given its high critical chance and multiplier, a critical-focused build is ideal for Corvas Prime. Combining this with its innate Heat damage and good status chance allows for a hybrid approach, leveraging both critical hits and powerful status effects like Corrosive Heat. The large projectile benefits from punch through for clearing groups.
