Slow loading screens usually come from four places: the install drive, a messy download cache, security software in the way, or background programs busy on the disk. Start free: Verify, then Optimize in the launcher. Then check the drive and add the two antivirus exceptions Digital Extremes names.

Do these in order
- Open the Warframe launcher and click the gear icon.
- Click Verify and wait until it finishes. It compares your files with the latest ones and repairs anything corrupt.
- Click Optimize. The launcher describes it as a way to speed up mission loading and trim wasted drive space.
- Check which drive holds the game. If it is on a hard drive and you own an SSD, install Warframe on the SSD.
- Add exceptions for Launcher.exe and Warframe.x64.exe in Windows Security and in any other antivirus or firewall.
- In Windows Security, open Virus & threat protection, then Virus & threat protection settings, then Add or remove exclusions, then Add an exclusion.
- Close non-essential programs, especially anything that watches disk or network activity. Try a clean boot if loads stay slow.
- Time one mission load before and after each change so you know which step helped.
