The short answer
Plastids drop on Saturn, Uranus, Phobos, Pluto and Eris. The fastest run is Ophelia (Uranus) Survival, on a planet whose drops are mostly Plastids and Polymer Bundle. Bring Nekros with Desecrate or Khora with Pilfering Strangledome. Assur is the Dark Sector version.

The fast route
- Load Ophelia (Uranus) and pick Survival.
- Slot a Resource Booster and a Resource Drop Chance Booster.
- Bring Nekros and hold Desecrate, or Khora with Pilfering Strangledome.
- Hold a spot in a full squad so more enemies spawn.
- Switch to Assur for a Dark Sector version when you want the bonus.

Mistakes that waste runs
- Farming on planets that do not drop Plastids.
- Running a Dark Sector solo. A full squad spawns more enemies.
