Nano Spores Farming in Warframe (2026): Eris and Neptune Dark Sectors

Run Zabala on Eris with Nekros; Terrorem on Deimos is the easy start

Last Updated on September 30, 2026

The short answer

Nano Spores drop on Deimos, Saturn, Neptune and Eris. The best run is Zabala (Eris), a Dark Sector Survival with a +30% resource drop bonus, with Nekros. Terrorem (Deimos) is the easier Survival for newer players.

Every place it drops

Nano Spores drops on: Deimos, Saturn, Neptune, Eris.

The fast route

  1. Turn on a Resource Booster if you own one.
  2. Load Zabala (Eris) with Nekros and a companion that has a retriever mod.
  3. Kill on the move and cast Desecrate over the corpses.
  4. Break every container you pass. They roll the planet resource pool.
  5. Stay for several rotations, then extract.
  6. If Zabala is too hard, run Terrorem (Deimos) instead.

FrameRoleWhy
NekrosSurvival farmDesecrate rolls each corpse loot table again, and resources sit on that table.
KhoraSurvival farmPilfering Strangledome gives enemies caught in Strangledome a chance to drop extra loot.
HydroidSurvival farmPilfering Swarm adds extra loot from enemies killed inside Tentacle Swarm.

Tips that save runs

  • Steel Path missions add +100% resource drop chance on top of any Dark Sector bonus.
  • The game ranks Nano Spores Common on Deimos, Saturn and Eris, and Uncommon on Neptune.
  • Dark Sector nodes spawn Infested enemies, so no Nullifier bubbles cancel Desecrate.
  • Boosters change what you pick up in the mission. They do not change mission or cache rewards.

Mistakes that waste runs

  • Farming Nano Spores on Mars, Uranus or other planets that do not have it in the pool.
  • Expecting a Resource Booster to double an end-of-mission cache. It only doubles pickups.
  • Leaving Survival after one rotation. The run pays over time.
