The short answer
You cannot start Mutalist Alad V without a crafted Assassinate Key, and its recipe needs one Mutalist Alad V Nav Coordinate plus six ordinary Nav Coordinates. In the fight he is invulnerable while his collar is on, so damage him when he attacks with it. He drops Mesa parts.

The fight, step by step
- Finish Patient Zero for the key blueprint, then farm one Mutalist Alad V Nav Coordinate and six Nav Coordinates.
- Craft the key (20,000 Credits, 2,500 Nano Spores, 750 Ferrite, 1 hour) and launch it to reach the Infested ship on Eris.
- Fight to Alad V. While his collar is on, he cannot be damaged, but Slash, Toxin, Gas and Heat procs still apply.
- Stack Heat or Slash on him while the collar is on. When it comes off, the stacked damage lands at once.
- When he removes the collar to attack, he is vulnerable. Hit him with everything.
- Dodge his collar throw, which mind controls whoever it lands on. A controlled player attacks the squad.
- Finish him and extract for the Mesa part.

Tips that save runs
- A beam weapon with Heat is the classic answer: it stacks the proc while he is untouchable.
- The key blueprint is reusable, so craft the next one while you farm Nav Coordinates.
- Keep your best damage dealer away from the collar throw. A mind controlled squad mate is the real danger.
Mistakes that waste runs
- Pouring ammo into him while the collar is on. Only status procs register.
- Starting the craft without the Mutalist Nav Coordinate. Ordinary ones will not do.
