Nidus stacks Mutation by spamming Virulence, then locks Parasitic Link onto himself or an ally with the Parasitic Vitality augment to turn into a near-unkillable tank, while Larva clumps enemies for easy kills. He's a self-sufficient Steel Path survival and crowd-control frame, not a burst damage dealer, and barely needs energy once his stacks are built up.
