Best Warframe for Kuva Siphon (2026)
Last Updated on September 30, 2026
Frost is the first pick: the Siphon cannot be hurt by weapons, so the mission is four Operator Void Dashes through Kuva clouds while a crowd tries to kill you, and a Snow Globe keeps ranged fire off the Operator. Loki and Rhino cover the same job from the stealth and tank sides. Do the Kuva Flood first, since it pays about double.
Researched September 29, 2026, current through Update 44 (Iceblade of Narin). Picks need two independent sources; anything we could only confirm once is left out.
| Frame | Why | Build focus |
|---|---|---|
| Frost | Snow Globe blocks ranged attacks on an Operator standing inside it and weakens enemies that walk in, which buys the seconds a Void Dash needs. | duration high, range high |
| Loki | Invisibility keeps the crowd off you, and Irradiating Disarm confuses the enemies in range so the Guardians spend their time fighting the Grineer around them. | duration high, range high |
| Rhino | Iron Skin is the invulnerability pick named for Kuva missions, and a high armor and health frame is what keeps the run going while the Operator is out. | balanced |

How the mission works
- Siphon nodes appear on the two planets nearest the Kuva Fortress. The Siphon is a side objective on top of a normal mission, so failing it does not fail the mission.
- Weapons cannot damage the Siphon. Switch to the Operator and Void Dash through a red-black Kuva cloud, or shoot the cloud with an Amp, to break one of its four Braids. If it absorbs eight clouds first, it teleports away.
- Kuva Siphon runs at enemy level 25 to 35 for about 550 to 700 Kuva each. The Kuva Flood runs at level 80 to 100 for about 1,100 to 1,400 Kuva each.
- Kuva Guardians defend it. They are immune to damage and crowd control while they hold their Kesheg, and an Operator Void Dash into them knocks it away.

Tips that save runs
- Listen for the whistling and watch the hoses on the Siphon. When they rise and scream, a cloud is on its way. A Synthesis Scanner also shows where it is.
- Guardians cannot be hurt while they hold the Kesheg. Switch to the Operator and Void Dash into one to knock it loose, then shoot it.
- Run the Kuva Flood first each hour. It pays about double a Siphon.
- A Resource Booster doubles the Kuva you pick up.
- You only need to hit each cloud once, so any Amp works.
Mistakes that waste runs
- Shooting the Siphon with your weapon. It takes no damage from them.
- Letting it absorb eight clouds. It teleports away and the Kuva is cut.
- Trying to crowd-control a Guardian that is still holding its Kesheg.
