Tenet Grigori

Build and guide

Build it if you want a heavy-attack scythe with real reach and free crowd control from its ricocheting disk. High status chance (38%) and slash-heavy damage make it a natural Condition Overload weapon. Real weakness: 24% crit chance and a 1.6x multiplier are mediocre, so it leans on status stacking rather than crits to scale.

Unique trait: Ricochet Disk

Heavy slide attacks, and the second hit of a heavy attack combo, launch a spinning energy disk that ricochets off surfaces and punches through enemies. Holstering the scythe pauses combo duration instead of draining it.

Tenet Grigori is a Corpus-built scythe sold by Ergo Glast rather than dropped by a Sister, which trips up players who assume every Tenet weapon comes from a Sister kill.

Its draw in 2026 is the heavy slide attack: a ricocheting energy disk that punches through enemies and scales off the combo multiplier, giving it real range for a melee weapon.

High status chance and slash-forward damage make it a natural Condition Overload weapon, and the holster-pauses-combo passive means it can be stowed between fights without losing the multiplier.

How to get the Tenet Grigori

  1. Farm Corrupted Holokeys in Void Storm Railjack missions (the Railjack fissures); each Void Storm has a chance to drop a stack.
  2. Visit Ergo Glast, the Perrin Sequence representative, in any Relay and buy the Tenet Grigori for 40 Corrupted Holokeys.
  3. His stock rotates every four days at 00:00 UTC, one copy of each weapon per rotation, and each rotation rolls a new bonus element and percentage. Wait for the roll you want or buy now and fuse later.

The Mastery Rank gate is enforced on store-bought Tenet weapons. Valence Fusion merges two copies up to 60 percent and lets you pick the element. Rank 40 with five Forma.

0.95 riven disposition puts it in the average 3-dot band, so rivens roll close to full strength. Only worth chasing if the weapon becomes a main, since the base kit already covers crit and status reasonably well without one.

Builds

Run a status-hybrid build around Condition Overload: stack Blood Rush and Weeping Wounds off the combo counter so crit and status both scale, then add Condition Overload to multiply damage per status type already on the target. Primed Fever Strike or another elemental mod gives a second status type to feed Condition Overload, and the ricocheting disk benefits from flat damage mods since it ignores melee arcanes but not mods.

ModWhy it’s here
Primed Pressure PointFlat melee damage increase, the baseline for any serious melee build.
Blood RushConverts combo multiplier into extra critical chance, needed since base crit chance is only 24%.
Weeping WoundsConverts combo multiplier into extra status chance, stacking on top of the weapon’s already-high 38% base.
Condition OverloadMultiplies melee damage for each unique status type on the target, the main damage scaler on a status-heavy weapon like this.
Organ ShatterAdds critical damage so the crit chance Blood Rush grants actually hits harder.
Primed Fever StrikeAdds pure Toxin damage, a second status type to feed Condition Overload.
Sacrificial Steel+220% critical chance, doubled on Heavy Attacks.
Voltaic StrikeAdds Electric damage and status chance, a third status type and useful for stunning groups the disk ricochets through.

Melee Influence is the strongest pick if the build carries an Electric status type, spreading procs from every enemy hit to others nearby. Melee Animosity is the cheaper, easier-to-farm alternative, trading that for stacking crit chance on heavy attacks instead.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • High native status chance feeds Condition Overload without extra mods
  • Ricochet disk gives the scythe real range and multi-enemy hits
  • Holstering pauses combo instead of draining it, forgiving in downtime
  • Slash-heavy base damage bypasses armor reasonably well

Cons

  • Low base crit chance and a weak 1.6x multiplier limit pure crit builds
  • Not sold by a Sister, so the bonus element can’t be chosen, only rerolled by rotation or Valence Fusion
  • Scythe stance has a learning curve compared to straightforward swords

Pick it up if a status-and-slash scythe with free AoE from its ricochet disk fits the melee rotation, and waiting out Ergo Glast’s rotation is fine. Skip it for a crit-first weapon or one that can be bought the moment it’s decided on.
