Build it for the niche, not for the meter. The chain beam tags four enemies at once, and Photon Overcharge turns Cold procs into squad energy, a trick nothing else in the game pulls off. If pure kill speed is what you want, put the grind into Incarnon Torid instead and treat this one as a side project.
The photon beam hits up to four enemies at once, then arcs to three more within 8 meters. Each hit deals 50% of the previous hit’s damage. Anything the main beam pierces via Punch Through spawns its own set of chains, so a lined-up group turns into a lightshow fast.
Tenet Glaxion drops from Sisters of Parvos, not Kuva Liches. That mix-up trips people up constantly. It’s the beam-rifle branch of the base Glaxion, rebuilt with sharper crit, more status, and a bonus element pulled from whichever Sister you vanquished for it.
Base damage is 100% Cold, 34 total. Crit chance sits at 20% with a 2.2x multiplier, and status chance is 40%, high for a beam weapon. The bonus element stacks another 25% to 60% on top of that, and most builders default to Magnetic since it keeps the final elemental combo flexible.
Rainollon’s 2026 guide runs the Viral/Heat, Corrosive/Blast, and Corrosive/Cold variants back to back. Worth a watch if you want to see the ramp-up and the chain in motion before you commit to the grind.
How to get the Tenet Glaxion
This is a Sisters of Parvos drop, not a Kuva Lich one, and the whole path runs on RNG.
- Head to a Corpus tileset such as Hydra or Pluto carrying a Zenith Crown key. Cost: 1 Zenith Crown.
- Find a Golden Hand of Parvos statue and trigger the Granum Void, then clear it. Cost: none beyond the run.
- A Sister of Parvos Candidate spawns after. Fight her down to zero health and read the weapon shown on her card. Cost: none.
- If the card shows Tenet Glaxion, mercy-kill her to ascend her into a full Sister. If it shows anything else, skip the mercy-kill and extract to reroll. Cost: none, just repeat from step 1.
- Track the ascended Sister down across missions and Vanquish her. Cost: none beyond the hunt itself.
- Claim the Tenet Glaxion from your Foundry. Cost: free once she’s vanquished.
There’s a secondhand route too. A converted Sister who isn’t vanquished yet can be traded through the Dojo’s Crimson Branch to a player with no active Lich or Sister, who then vanquishes her for the drop. The listed Mastery Rank requirement is 16, but the wiki notes MR isn’t actually checked on a Foundry claim off a vanquished Adversary, so a lower-MR player can still grab it.
Once you have it, lock down the bonus element before you build around it.
- Check the bonus element on your copy when you claim it. It’s whatever type your vanquished Sister carried: Impact, Heat, Cold, Electricity, Toxin, Magnetic, or Radiation.
- Repeat the acquisition grind above for a second Tenet Glaxion if you want to change the element or push it higher. Cost: a full second grind.
- Feed the duplicate into your first copy with Valence Fusion. Cost: 1 duplicate Tenet Glaxion, consumed permanently. Effect: maxes the bonus to 60% and lets you choose the element.
- Once the weapon hits rank 40, slot Elemental Vice instead. Cost: the Elemental Vice mod, plus a formaed weapon at rank 40. Effect: swap the bonus element on the fly, no second copy needed.
Stats
| Class | Primary |

| Mastery Rank | 16 |
| Trigger | HELD |
| Noise | Alarming |
| Fire Rate | 12 |
| Accuracy | 100 |
| Magazine | 90 |

| Status Chance | 40% |
| Riven Disposition | (0.65) |

Riven disposition sits at 0.65x, the lowest bracket in the game. A Riven for this weapon rolls weak stats and isn’t worth chasing on its own.
Builds
The community default build leans into the chain and the status kit instead of chasing a damage ceiling. Galvanized Chamber and Galvanized Aptitude carry the multishot and status scaling, Critical Delay and Photon Overcharge push crit numbers most beam weapons never touch, and Primed Shred adds fire rate plus punch through so the chains keep finding new targets through a crowd. Which of the three elemental mods you slot depends on the composite you’re chasing: Viral/Heat, Corrosive/Blast, and Corrosive/Cold are the three variants Rainollon’s guide walks through.

| Mod | Effect |
|---|---|
| Galvanized Chamber | +80% Multishot. On kill, +30% Multishot for 20s, stacks up to 5x. |
| Galvanized Aptitude | +80% Status Chance. On kill, +40% direct damage per status type affecting the target for 20s, stacks up to 2x. |
| Critical Delay | +200% Critical Chance, -20% Fire Rate. |
| Photon Overcharge | +90% Critical Damage. On kill or assist, 2% chance per Cold status stack on the target to drop an Energy Orb. |
| Primed Shred | +55% Fire Rate, +2.2m Punch Through. |
| Wildfire | +20% Magazine Capacity, +60% Heat. |
| Malignant Force | +60% Toxin, +60% Status Chance. |
| High Voltage | +60% Electricity, +60% Status Chance. |
| Sinister Reach (Exilus) | +12m Beam Range. |
Primary Debilitate is the top community pick for the arcane slot. It procs Heat, Cold, Toxin, and Electric together, so the Cold component still feeds Photon Overcharge’s energy orbs while the rest of the build gets full damaging-status value. Primary Crux trades a little DPS for easier ammo and status upkeep through headshots, and Primary Deadhead has the higher damage ceiling if you land headshots consistently.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- Chain beam hits up to 4 enemies at once, then arcs to 3 more within 8m at 50% falloff per hop, clearing groups a single-target beam can’t touch.
- 40% base status chance with a 20% crit chance and 2.2x multiplier, stats that scale hard once Galvanized mods and an arcane are in.
- Photon Overcharge is exclusive to this weapon: +90% Crit Damage plus a chance at squad energy from Cold-status kills, a niche nothing else fills quite the same way.
- Extremely ammo-efficient at 0.5 ammo per tick, with an 810 max reserve, 80 per pickup, and pinpoint accuracy that barely notices Heavy Caliber’s penalty.
- Valence Fusion lets you tune the bonus element to whatever combo you’re chasing, and Magnetic is the flexible default for switching between builds.
Cons
- Riven disposition is 0.65x, the lowest bracket in the game, so Rivens for it roll weak.
- Damage ramps from 20% to 100% over 0.6 seconds of continuous fire and decays back down after 0.8 seconds idle, which punishes peek-shooting.
- Range tops out at 30m, short next to most competing primaries and Incarnon weapons.
- Sportskeeda’s own build guide is blunt about it: a pure-damage build here loses to the same build on Incarnon Torid, full stop.
- Acquisition is RNG stacked on RNG, Granum Void runs hoping for a Candidate carrying this exact weapon, then a full Sister hunt after that.
This is a support pick, not a damage pick. Grab it if you want a beam weapon that locks a room down in Cold status and keeps your squad’s energy topped up between objectives, especially anywhere Overguard shows up. If you’re chasing raw kill speed for Steel Path or endurance content, put the grind toward Incarnon Torid or Tenet Tetra first and treat Tenet Glaxion as a side project you build when you feel like it.
