Stradavar Prime

Build and guide

Build it. The Stradavar Prime offers versatile firing modes, making it adaptable to various combat situations. Its main weakness is the semi-auto mode’s high ammo consumption.

Unique trait: Select-fire

Switches between full-auto and semi-auto firing modes. Full-auto has higher damage, accuracy, critical multiplier, and magazine size. Semi-auto has increased status chance, built-in punch through, but lower fire rate and consumes 2 rounds per shot.

The Stradavar Prime is the Primed variant of the Stradavar, offering significant upgrades over its base model. It was introduced alongside Equinox Prime and Tipedo Prime.

This weapon features a unique select-fire mechanic, allowing players to switch between a full-auto mode and a semi-auto mode. Each mode has distinct advantages and disadvantages, catering to different playstyles and combat scenarios.

The full-auto mode excels in sustained fire with high accuracy and negligible recoil, while the semi-auto mode provides innate punch through and higher status chance, albeit at a cost of increased ammo consumption per shot.

How to get the Stradavar Prime

  1. The Stradavar Prime is vaulted: its relics no longer drop in missions. Open relics you already own, buy them for Aya when Prime Resurgence lists it, or buy the parts for platinum.
  2. Receiver: Lith D3, Lith W2, Meso W2, Meso Z3, Axi A10 and 1 more (vaulted relics).
  3. Stock: Lith N13, Lith N5, Lith P3, Meso C5, Axi B3 and 2 more (vaulted relics).
  4. Blueprint: Lith S10, Lith S13, Lith S8, Neo S11, Neo S12 and 1 more (vaulted relics; the rare slot in Lith S10, Lith S13).
  5. Barrel: Lith M4, Lith M5, Lith N6, Meso E3, Neo E3 and 1 more (vaulted relics).
  6. Run the fissure tier that matches each relic, refine the rare part’s relic to Radiant, and pick the best of the four results with a squad.
  7. Build the parts, then the weapon: 12 hours each, or rush with platinum.

Builds

Given its balanced critical chance and status chance, a hybrid build is recommended. This approach leverages both critical hits for burst damage and status effects for crowd control and damage amplification. Focus on increasing both critical stats and status chance, then add elemental damage.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Versatile firing modes for different situations.
  • High accuracy and negligible recoil in full-auto.
  • Innate punch through in semi-auto mode.
  • Good critical multiplier.
  • Innate three Madurai polarities.

Cons

  • Semi-auto mode consumes 2 rounds per shot.
  • Lower fire rate in semi-auto mode.
  • Primarily Impact and Puncture damage in full-auto, which are less desirable against armored targets.

The Stradavar Prime is a solid primary weapon that offers flexibility through its dual firing modes. While its semi-auto mode has a notable ammo consumption drawback, the overall package provides a reliable and adaptable option for various missions. Its balanced stats allow for effective hybrid builds, making it a worthy addition to any arsenal.
