Build it. Kogake Prime offers high status chance and a movement speed bonus. Its main weakness is low attack speed.
Grants a 5% Movement Speed bonus when held (i.e. melee mode or quick melee).
Kogake Prime is the Prime variant of the Kogake, featuring increased damage and a high status chance. It was introduced alongside Mirage Prime and Akbolto Prime.
This sparring weapon primarily deals Impact damage and has an innate Naramon polarity in its stance slot. It also boasts three innate Madurai polarities, making modding flexible.
Despite its low attack speed, Kogake Prime provides a useful 5% movement speed bonus when equipped, enhancing player mobility during missions.
How to get the Kogake Prime
- The Kogake Prime is vaulted: its relics no longer drop in missions. Open relics you already own, buy them for Aya when Prime Resurgence lists it, or buy the parts for platinum.
- Blueprint: Meso M3, Neo B6, Axi C4, Axi K4, Axi P1 and 1 more (vaulted relics).
- Boot: Lith L1, Lith M7, Meso M2, Neo G1, Axi A12 and 2 more (vaulted relics).
- Gauntlet: Lith K2, Lith K5, Meso K1, Neo K1, Neo K2 (vaulted relics; the rare slot in Lith K2, Lith K5).
- Run the fissure tier that matches each relic, refine the rare part’s relic to Radiant, and pick the best of the four results with a squad.
- Build the parts, then the weapon: 12 hours each, or rush with platinum.
Check the Relic finder for live odds per refinement; the set price on this page is what the built set trades for on warframe.market.

Builds
Given its high status chance and low critical chance, a status-focused build is optimal for Kogake Prime. Prioritize mods that increase status chance, elemental damage, and attack speed to compensate for its inherent slowness. Viral or Corrosive are excellent elemental choices for their strong debuffs.
