The Burst Laser Prime is the signature weapon of the Shade Prime sentinel. It is a Prime variant of the Burst Laser, firing five shots per burst instead of three.
This weapon primarily deals Puncture damage, which is effective against armored targets. It accepts pistol mods for customization.
Despite a rebalance in Update 37 that improved its stats, the Burst Laser Prime remains a low-tier weapon due to its inherently weak base damage and critical chance.
How to get the Burst Laser Prime
- Burst Laser Prime comes with Shade Prime: build the sentinel and the weapon arrives with it. Shade Prime is vaulted: open relics you already own, buy them for Aya when Prime Resurgence lists it, or buy the sentinel parts for platinum.

- Run the fissure tier that matches each relic, refine the rare part’s relic to Radiant, and pick the best of the four results with a squad.
- Build the sentinel parts, then Shade Prime; the Burst Laser Prime is in the sentinel’s blueprint, with its own slot and no extra crafting.
