Akvasto Prime

Build and guide

Build it. The Akvasto Prime is a solid semi-automatic secondary with high damage and good critical/status balance. Its main weakness is its semi-automatic trigger, which can be slow without a macro.

The Akvasto Prime is the primed version of the Akvasto revolver, offering enhanced offensive capabilities compared to its base counterpart. It is a dual-wielded secondary weapon that deals primarily Slash damage.

This weapon has undergone several adjustments, including a significant rebalance in Update 32.2. Its fire rate was reduced to a more manageable level for manual firing, and its damage was substantially increased to compensate.

With a balanced critical and status chance, the Akvasto Prime can be built for various playstyles, making it a versatile choice for many missions.

How to get the Akvasto Prime

  1. The Akvasto Prime is vaulted: its relics no longer drop in missions. Open relics you already own, buy them for Aya when Prime Resurgence lists it, or buy the parts for platinum.
  2. Blueprint: Axi A5 (vaulted relics; the rare slot in Axi A5).
  3. Link: Axi A5 (vaulted relics).
  4. Run the fissure tier that matches each relic, refine the rare part’s relic to Radiant, and pick the best of the four results with a squad.
  5. Build the parts, then the weapon: 12 hours each, or rush with platinum.

Check the Relic finder for live odds per refinement; the set price on this page is what the built set trades for on warframe.market.

Builds

Given its balanced critical chance (22%) and status chance (22%), the Akvasto Prime can effectively utilize a hybrid build. This approach leverages both critical hits for burst damage and status effects for crowd control and damage amplification. Prioritize mods that boost both stats, then add elemental damage.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • High base damage (110)
  • Balanced critical and status chances (22% each)
  • Primarily deals Slash damage, effective against health
  • Above average Riven disposition (1.2)
  • Good for hybrid builds

Cons

  • Semi-automatic trigger can be slow without rapid clicking
  • Lower fire rate compared to some other secondaries
  • Acquisition relies on Baro Ki’Teer’s rotating stock

The Akvasto Prime is a powerful and versatile secondary weapon that rewards players who can manage its semi-automatic fire. Its balanced stats allow for effective hybrid builds, making it a strong contender in many mission types. While its acquisition depends on Baro Ki’Teer, the investment is worthwhile for a reliable sidearm.
