The short answer
The Vallis has 13 servofish, and the weather decides which ones show up. Buy the Shockprod from The Business and use it on all of them: Cetus spears damage servofish and cut the standing and parts you get. Warm weather is only 6 minutes 40 seconds of each 26:40 cycle, so line up the warm fish first.

The fishing route
- Buy the Shockprod from The Business in Fortuna (500 standing, Neutral). The Stunna comes later.
- Check the weather on the Fortuna clock. Warm fish only show when it's warm, cold fish only when it's cold.
- Head to water: the Coolant Reservoir lake west of Fortuna, a pond, or a cave.
- For a bait fish, throw its bait into a hotspot (an oily patch with a green glow) first.
- Throw at a fish. A silver gauge appears with a moving white marker.
- Release with the marker on the small red zone. That stuns the fish and lifts it. Miss and you're staggered and it escapes.
- Dismantle the catch at The Business. Every servofish gives Scrap plus its own part.

The weather cycle
- Warm: 6 minutes 40 seconds.
- Cold: 20 minutes.
- Full cycle: 26 minutes 40 seconds.
Tips that save runs
- The Stunna (5,000 standing at Doer, after the Shockprod) widens the catch zone on the gauge and stuns nearby servofish.
- Caves hold Scrubber, Mirewinder, Charamote and Synathid in any weather. They're the cold-weather fallback.
- Servofish quality shows in the attachments: Basic, Adorned, Magnificent. More attachments means more parts.
Mistakes that waste runs
- Using a Lanzo, Tulok or Peram on servofish. It works, but it damages the fish and cuts the standing and parts.
- Waiting in the cold for a Kriller or Longwinder. Warm-only fish don't spawn until it warms up.
- Missing the red zone on the gauge. The fish is gone.
