Best Catchmoon, Gaze, Rattleguts & Tombfinger Builds

Finding The Right Build

All Kitguns comprises three parts; Chamber, Grip and the Loader. Below are the number of these things available in the game:

  • Chambers: 4
  • Grips: 4
  • Loaders: 16

These things can make up to 256 combinations that you can try, with adjustment of each and everything. From crit to stats, from attack speed to reload speed. Let’s understand what all of these things do to your weapons

  • Chambers: The chamber defines how the weapon fires, or the firing style
  • Grips: Grips affect important stats such as range, rate-of-fire, and damage
  • Loaders: These affect the status chance, crit chance, magazine size and reload speed of a gun.

Zuud’s Murderizers

Zudd is the local vendor that provides you with the parts for Kitguns, these parts can be purchased from her in exchange for Solaris United Standing.

There are multiple things that you can do once you head to her:

  • Exchange your earned Solaris United Standing for Kitgun Chambers, Grips, Loaders and Pax Arcanes.
  • Preview and configure builds.
  • Donate Kitguns in exchange for Solaris Standing.
  • Rename Kitguns and non-kitguns for 15p platinum fee.

Gaze Builds

Smokerfinger’s Smokefinger

  • Type: Secondary

With this configuration, you’ll get a Beam based secondary, with a crit chance of 39%, with a magazine size of 43.

This mod configuration will make sure that you have a high crit based build. Just point and shoot heads dealing a lot of damage. Last time I tried this Kitgun, I was able to two-shot a Level-100 Grineer.

Shotgun, with insane damage. The Gaze build was a secondary pistol that can deal a lot of damage, but this one is a shotgun, little close range but deadly. Some people even complain about it being broken.

This weapon deals good damage and also has AOE since it’s an explosive semi-auto. Always shoot someone in/around the crowd so the blasts take a couple of enemies with them.


P.S. Anything that uses Killstream will always have a high critical chance.

I will recommend you to run critical + status builds since those are the best end-game weapons. The ones mentioned in the article should be good enough for almost Level 100+ content. Haze and Rattleguts both can be built as hybrid weapons for all content, including high-tier end-game.
