Last Updated on May 19, 2022

Gathering resources is a vital part of the game. To be able to upgrade your weapons, armor, and castle, several resources are needed. Leather is one of the most in-demand materials in the early game. It is one of the first materials you gather to upgrade your gear, weapons, and castle to the next level. The game, however, doesn’t specify how to get leather. Here is the guide on getting all the leather you need.

There are several methods on how to gather leather. One of the tedious ways is to gather about 160 animal hides and 8 planks to craft one piece of leather. The easiest way to get Leather in the game is by looting Bandit Camps scattered around the map. You can check the loot that can be acquired when raiding a Bandit Camp. You can also sneak around the base of their camp and loot them when possible.

One of the tedious ways is to gather about 160 animal hides and 8 planks to craft one piece of leather. To craft the leather, you must first defeat Keely the Frost Archer to unlock the Tannery blueprint. Keely is a level 20 ranged fighter, the advisable level before engaging in this fight is level 17. Once Keely is defeated, make sure to loot the chests around the camp and a Course Thread. Now with Keely defeated and the Tannery blueprint unlocked, you can now access the Tannery through the refinement build menu. There you will place the 8 planks and 160 animal hides, and leather can be crafted.
